Coming out to my parents

So, I’ll give you a quick rundown.
I’m a demi and also aro.
I’m unsure if my parents are homophobic and i don’t have enough intel to confirm whether or not they are.
How can i tell?

Bring it up in conversation if they ask why just say your curious and of they aren't then just tell them yk hey I'm demi and aro or smth like that and if they are homophobic then I say wait depending on how homophobic they are because you always wanna be safe while coming out that includes mental health

I can't offer much help on the coming out message
