Do you want an emotional answer or a practical game-plan of where to start?

If I were you, and Ive been in a similar situations.. disregarding the emotional aspects. Which do make for painful obstacles through this:

  1. I started with seeking organizations that could provide me with affordable therapy. I acknowledged I needed help.

  2. I applied for insurance and had to wait for it to be approved. There are many healthcare plans and providers.

  3. I looked into the benefits I was eligible for and started applying for medical disability since I was unemployed/ also looking into employment to support myself.

  4. I looked into government programs for other housing assistance and or options. (Having a lawyer can help with some things but one isn’t necessary.)

  5. I did self reflection of all the things wrong with my life and started making a bullet list of the things I personally wanted and began working towards becoming that person. It didn’t matter what anyone said or did, these were my goals and ambitions.

I joined groups that had similar view points and began to build a support system that I never had. Also reflected on the aspects of myself that cost me support in the past and worked to stop it.

These are a few of the things I would do.
