I know it seems like I'm talking a lot throughout Pridecord, but I just want to get to know a lot more people, and they're opinions and interests!

But down to brass tacks, I've wanted to come out to certain family members for a while, but I never worked up enough courage to be honest with them. I've already came out to a number of my friends, and they are pretty supportive. But when it comes down to coming out to your family members, especially ones who are extremely homophobic, It's more nerve racking. And I don't know what to do, and I don't know what to say to them..

I have members of my family who are extremely homophobic and i know its different for everyone but if you think they will hurt you if you come out you should wait, because the last thing you want is to be really hurt and if you wanted to try to make offhanded comments but if things are going south do not be afraid to stop remember your mental health matters so much

I agree because if they truly do love you as who u are then what does sexuality chaneg about u ykwim?
