I’ve been debating whether or not to come out to my mother. i came out as pan to my dad once, but he said “oh! i found out what pan means, you shouldn’t focus on love yet, okay?” im not pan anymore but i might be bisexual. and my moms a homophobe as well as a transphobe.

it sounds like your dad is more accepting than your mom (same for me) so if youre comfortable, you could tell him and if he says the same thing you can say that youre not entirely focused on love, thats just something you thought he should know
