So I’m definitely aroace. Well, on the spectrum at least. Does anyone know what alterous attraction/love is? Basically it is (from Google) a feeling that is neither being (entirely/completely) platonic nor romantic. It’s an attraction best described as wanting emotional closeness without necessarily being (at all or entirely) platonic or romantic.
So I feel this a lot, as I see a lot of other aroace people do. I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE my friend 😭 And of course, I wanna express it. But she’s asked about what my sexuality is before, which I explained mainly aroace and demiromantic, but she doesn’t seem to completely understand (but is accepting). I’m worried that if I confess, she’ll take it differently, like I have a crush on her. And honestly, it’s very close to that, but it’s not. I don’t want our friendship to be ruined because as I said I love her so much
Any tips??
