In the mental health channel why does everybody say “do you want to talk in DMs” or some variation of it. I’m not trying to hate. I just don’t understand why

I mean I understand some personal topics
That shouldn’t be spread to lots of people
It just doenst make sense to me though

Because certain topics are banned on the server among with certain words. It can be easier to talk in DMs when you don't have the fear of getting banned for venting for example
