Hi, I’m just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I could start and ask my parents about getting me a binder but I’m unsure how they will react. I know they aren’t homophobic or anything like that I’m just scared to ask because I’m an early teen and unsure if they’ll willing get me one.

It is the best to talk with them about it. Maybe start finding out their point by talking about topics you like, or talk to one of them first, because at least for me I feel more comfortable telling one person something instead of telling several at once about something I am uncomfortable with. But I think the option to buy it on your own wouldn’t be the best, even if you have the money to, because if they hang the clothes to dry, they will eventually fine it and it may get a bit tension.
Asking should be the best way, even when it feels hard for you to do, it will feel easier afterwards
