🏳️⚧️ I am a transgender girl but I am currently and unfortunately a boy and I don't know how to talk to my parents about it...
I want to be a girl, I've felt like a girl since I was little, and I'm getting to the point where I'll need my parents' help to begin my transition... I don't know how to talk to my parents about it...

May I ask what age you are? And do you think your parents would be accepting if you'd came out?
If I may add to that if you have family that have already come out were your parents accepting of them
If so they most likely will be the same for you
I'm afraid that if I tell them, I'll find out that my parents are transphobic...
I'm 15, and I don't know for my parents
You can try bringing trans people up in conversation or like I did (since I always got nervous talking about trans stuff fearing I might get "caught" lol) hang up pride stuff (stickers, posters, or even flags) in your room and see their reaction
Then I'd advice you to only come out if you're absolutely sure your parents aren't transphobic since you have some more years to live at home, and also maybe start building a support system for example by telling friends (supposed you haven't done that already)
Thank you, I think I will do this 🙏
Yes, my parents don't like me looking like a girl, I know that, but I still hope they'll accept it anyway.
At first my mother also had issues with me dressing masculine and she wanted me to shop in the women's section more but I just continued anyway and eventually they stopped so it might work for you as well
However I don't know your parents so you have to decide if it's safe for you
Yes, I have to be careful, I don't know how my parents will react.
Thanks again, I was still lost and didn't know what to do. 😅
ofc I hope I've helped you and if you need more advice you can just dm me
