Eating alot might just be a thing to cope with stress. I do that too! I keep munching on stuff whenever I get stressed or under invisible pressure. Knowing your goal is a good thing! Next step is to try and work towards it. I'm fat in my own opinion, and I've realized that no one's gonna help you except yourself. So i've been doing a excersise routine lately. I havent moved onto the next step of reducing the amount of food I eat yet. But remember! Baby steps are ok as long as you work towards your goal! You can try this too!
Whenever u feel like u wanna eat smth, go ahead. Keep track of how much u eat per day!
Then try to cut down little by little, even a bite less is a step foward!
Keep doing that, on some days u may find yourself extremely hungry. But if you cant seriously hold back anymore, that's your limit for now.
Keep going on that amount till you feel like you can eat less
If you are feeling stressed, you can try stress toys to help relief them! Or even writing whats bothering you on a private diary, you dont even need to bother venting it to others if you feel uncomfy/ not safe with telling them
This is gonna be a tough process, Im not sugar-coating it
This takes alot of determination to do
But do believe in yourself if you really want to change
I stress eat, I weigh 165 pounds (I am not trying make you feel invalid at all) eat what you want to eat, but when you feel like your ready try and cut back on some foods and how much you eat in a day, if you feel like it's not working or you are really hungry then eat, starving yourself and limiting yourself from eating is not healthy and isn't the best way to do things, also maybe try and do exercises that might help with your weight, I know you can do this eventually, but it all just takes time
