she sent me a message, changed her bio to the date she killed herself, has been offline on every social platform, and hasnt spoken to anyone since that day. I texted every single one of our online friends, then I texted a few of her irl friends / classmates and they all told me that she was gone.

It's a normal moment you have to deal with. but yeah, it's her choice, her action. you were not with her, just online.
It can'T be your fault. You never asked her to do that etc...
It's normal to feel guilty to maybe not be able to help or prevent that, but really, you did nothing bad...

im sorry that happened, but it isnt your fault. You didn't tell her to do it, you didn't encourage her doing it, it was her decision and she decided to do it. maybe you should try and find a therapist or someone you can trust to talk to about this because i know that that is helpful for some people. Please dont do anything bad to yourself because of this as that will not help you feel better. again im sorry for your loss and hope that soon you will be able to eat regularly and sleep without nightmares and talk to people
