I came out to my close friends and family nearly a year ago at this point, and nowadays if anyone asks me or it happens to come up I'm not nervous to admit my sexuality, I even asked a guy out for the first time yesterday. But I fear doing things like getting this server's t a g or getting a flag or whatever because I don't want to look like someone who "makes it my personality." How did you guys get past this 😓

It wouldn't exactly be making it your personality, making your belief your personality would be like radical evangelism, but sharing what you think passively is simply wearing your opinion on your sleeve, be yourself and don't care about what people think of you, although easier said than done /g /lh

I agree. Showing who you truly are to the world isn't "making it your personality". It may be hard to ignore people who judges you but in my opinion, I prefer to be myself and be happy with the people that accept me, than just hiding myself. Of course, being kind is always the key^^

Well, having an lgbt tag doesnt make it everything about you, thats just representing yourself really. If your sexuality was all you talked about and all you really think about THEN its your whole personality. But having a lgbt tag? Nah ur good vro
