My friend almost killed themselves

I had to stay up till 2am convincing my friend not to kill themselves. They wouldn’t tell me why but i had never been more scared. Does anyone have any tips so i can help them? Im so worried about them.

It would already help when youre there for them, if watching a movie together or just talk. I really hope that someone els can hell better, I wish you and your friend the best and that everthing will get better <3

But i am still gonna say this:
Killing yourself doesn’t get rid of your pain. It transfers all of that pain to those who loved you. Meaning that it doesn’t get rid of it. It multiplies. And you will be leaving behind all of the people you care about. You will never get the chance to do your favorite activities, play your favorite games, talk to your friends. you’d never be able to do that. And you would never receive the happiness you gain in the future, because no matter what. Things get better. Appreciate the small moments. they help.
