Recently I feel like two of my best friends are getting a lot closer to each other without me being in the equation. I feel like it might be the best idea to detach myself from them and just slowly drift from the group as it makes me feel incredibly left out and alone.
I'm unsure of if this is the best option, but I don't want to get in the way of their friendship either.

If replying, please keep in mind that I have BPD so I may have a clouded judgement, and that might be why I feel this way. Please be sensitive with me.

hello i’m someone with bpd too and have been on dbt for a year now and have felt the same way as you and the best advice i can give is to try and tell them how you feel. communication is really important, especially when it comes to bpd. it’s okay to feel that way but try to tell them how you feel because if you drift away without any explanations, it might confuse them and hurt you even more. i know it’s hard to put your feelings and emotions to words but once you’ve done it, you would feel less weight on your shoulders. also practice radical acceptance! it’s really hard but it’ll be worth it in the end.
