i have undiagnosed ADHD (i think...? nobody's exactly sure what exactly the disability is but it's there and feels like adhd/autism so idk apologies if this doesn't make sense) and i procrastinate like hell and i need some motivation to do hw and stuff so i'm not sure what to do like i literally have a ton of homework due at like 11pm tonight and its 6pm ive barely started ahhh

oh i can absolutely relate to that ! i’m in basically the same situation, usually it helps me when i need to do something just sit there, count to 3 and at 3 just get up and do it, set yourself a time limit, only do like 15 min, which you are gonna have to do and if u feel motivated then just continue !
but i HAVE to do like 1hr of work like rn or my parents'll kill me
okay, you got this, just count to 3, get up once you reached 3 and you got this, after some time you’re gonna feel more motivated, listen to some lyric (without lyrics so it doesn’t distract you) and you can do it ! i believe in you <3

Another couple things that work for ADHD are body doubling and dopamine quickstarts; so like if you have a study buddy or a sibling who can be in the same room or even just if you can be in a voice chat that'll help, and also if someone excitedly helps motivate you like "yeah! you got this! HOMEWORK YOU CAN DO IT I BELIEVE IN YOU HECK YEAH HOMEWORKKK" a bit like you'd motivate a dog for a walk. We make use of both of these tricks extensively and they really work, for our friends too they work.
