Idk why but I really feel the need to inform my mom of the whole gay furry thing and while I'm sure she'd be fine with the gay part the furry part I'm not so sure as she has said "furry need to get it out of there system" to her friend while I was walking right behind her and now I have no clue what to say. She does try to be as supportive as possible, but I think she'd be the type of person to think therians and furry's are the same or that furry's are just an inherently sexual thing despite just how wrong that is.

Try to explain to your mom the difference between a furry and a therian, tell her that being a furry isn’t always sexual, and why you are a furry/like being one. You couId also tell her all of your good experiences as a furry. I think if you explain it to her she will understand it more and hopefully support you.
