@rustic monolith Do you have any hobbies or interests that you think would be a healthier outlet for your feelings than sh? Or are you hoping for advice that directly addresses your real life circumstances?
Are you familiar with abstract expressionism? If you’re running out of ideas, you could try to draw in such a way that you capture the negative emotions you’re currently feeling
Yeah like for me I like to vent my emotions with writing. So I have a cringey self insert fanfic that I don’t show anyone but I use to express myself when I’m feeling down
As for your real life circumstances, what would you say is the reason you and your dad fight so often?
Also if you are struggling with loneliness or meeting people there are tons of people in the same boat. I have had my fair share of struggles with being alone but it is ok to be alone or rather not be with people all the time.
For most of my middle school years I had no in person friends at my school, but I found a group that I could at least talk with online. That relationship ended up falling through but it was nice to talk with someone
Friends are always hard to make with most people already having their own cliques.
A lot of schools have clubs or programs that help people with meeting new people and making friends
are you the one who's dad somehow still has partial custody over you?
Ah, whoops, by bad, I was confusing you with someone else.
I thought you were someone else so I was asking if you were that person
yeah.
I can't remember their username but I was talking to another person a little while ago who had a very abusive father, both to them and their mom. Because of the abuse, there was a divorce but somehow the dad still managed to get partial custody, even though his treatment was deserving of having cps called on him.
