Hello! Im Junie, and I am frankly new here. I am 16 and a sophomore in high school (relevant!) There was a student within my school (keeping their info private ofc!) Who recently was going through mental health struggles as they were trans and bullied/not understood because of there identity. - do not open this if you are easily triggered, tw life mention! - || they took their life in my school || gladly they made it but my school refuses to talk about it, They swept it under the rug as nothing happens and we continued on without the student, as if they never existed. as someone with the lgbtq community this breaks my heart but I'm not trans so it feels wrong to speak about, would it be appropriate to speak about for awareness? (im lesbian). The student is a freshman, and I know them sorta personally and they wouldnt want their story to not be heard. They are a young valid Trans person who I see to be a beautiful person with and without their identity, and if I were in this spot I wouldn't want to let the bullying and criticism go under the rug as well as near death experience. Is this okay to talk about?...
#Awareness for MH in trans community!

Are you okay from that? It must have been scary to hear that if you know them..
I am! I knew of them but not them personally. I am very caring so no matter the person or situation I'm there to support. Its very sad and disheartening too hear of course, but coming from my school its not so unlikely.
I appreciate you asking! I've been through worse <33
I handled it well and am processing it, but I have a advocating voice and I want to use itttt
Okay thats good
And idk if you're allowed to talk about it- not up to me to say because we are just a new member :)
