Hi, Amy here! I identify as Demigirl, but it feels weird and sometimes uncomfortable.
Since I was little, my mom always told me that no matter what "side I'm on", she would always love me, but she also told me that being trans was ridiculous. I never paid much attention to this last point, since I know that being trans isn't "ridiculous" or "weird," but I think it affected the way I see my gender.
I've always felt like a boy, but my mother's words are stuck in my head, and I always come back to the same thing: "I'm a girl."
What do I do?...
Please note: My mother is NOT a bad mother; she loves me, and I love her back. She knows about my being Pan, but not about my gender confusion. She was born in a different time, with a different mindset. IT'S NOT HER FAULT.
