You just talk to them normally. As a female, I don't want a guy coming over acting like a jerk. I'd like to talk to a nice guy who doesn't treat me differently than one of their guy friends.

I come out to anyone whenever the topic gets brought up. I just haven't come out to my family because if they're homophobic, I can't get away from them.

The thing that helped the best for me was realizing that I need to have a partner who can communicate well with me naturally, not while I'm putting on an act for them. So practice, but also don't get too caught up in the nitty gritty details. You should develop your own natural way of talking to them
