Nah i get it, i struggle so much to know that aswell, like tbh for the majority of my friends if they asked to date i'd be down for it lmao, more than that though if you trust this person feel free to discuss it with them, as long as you both are in a position where your both happy with yourselves and your relationship I don't see a need to worry, and if your feeling do ever change they should be understanding enough to talk with you about it again
