The only way to get friends in real life is to take off that headset. IF you wait to do so until you have friends, you'll never take it off.

I never had friends tho even before I had the headset I’ve always been bullied for things that weren’t true and everyone in my school is so different from me I put on the headset to escape that reality and I can actually make friends on there but I can’t here as the people that are around me just isn’t my crowd and I can’t leave This crowd for another couple years

I mean, long term relationships are possible, you had an example of one, but ones that succeed and survive are unfortunatly quite rare.

Yeah I’m a gamer and a pansexual genderfluid furry in a area filled with big jocks that are all straight never play any good games and are all farm obsessed people as my place is mostly farm land

I see. Relationships in middle school even going a couple of months is already rare. As for high school, they normally only really begin to truly show up in sophomore year, and of those, only a few actually survive the whole school year.

But one good thing is in 8 days I get to join my crowd when I go to pax gaming convention I’m hoping I can make some friends there that will last in which I will have a higher chance of seeing in person

Yeah sometimes there hard to get into lots of times the tickets are either very expensive or sold out

Makes sense I don’t blame you they are pretty overwhelming at first but give it some time and go to some small shops and you will very quickly become comfortable and realize everyone there is very friendly and is willing to talk or help if you just ask
