So for context, I am AFAB and not out to parents and go by a Eli instead of my given name :)
But basically, I'm not really sure about how i identify gender wise. For a while i said i was pangender because I felt the same about all pronouns and stuff, but then a couple of years ago I realized that I didn't really like She/Her being used, it felt suffocating. So I started using He/They. But that didn't really feel like me either, so I tried out He/Him and I liked that for a while. But the more i used he/him the less it felt like me.
I feel a disconnect from gender and I don't understand how people can feel so strongly for things like that.
I feels a bit dehumanizing, like there is something wrong with me.
Help is wanted and appreciated
EDIT: also as a kid when i would imagine my future and crap it would always be in a masc sense, if that helps

You don't always choose your gender at birth. Sometimes people like being a girl or a boy but that is able to change as you grow up.

i grew up sure that i was a cis guy IN a queer collective with tons of supportive people, i insisted and insisted i was never gonna come out
