So, this was 2023 i think(bad at remembering time frames) and me and my mother were out running errands. well, she knew the workers in this one|| vape|| shop, so naturally, they start chatting. Well, the topic of gay people came up and my mother says " Everyone needs a gay bestfriend" and here i am, sitting on one of the chairs across the store commenting: " I am that best friend" and she was shocked...she came over and was like " Really?...." I don't know, i just find it funny! and after, she told me not to tell my father...(he was homophobic...to the point he wouldnt let a gay doctor treat him because he was worried they may hit on him lol)

I agree 10000% with this. A normal thinking, average mother will ALWAYS put her child before some partner. That is if you have a good relation to her.
