Do not bottle up emotions, I used to did that, it become more, more until I was about to drown inside the sea of emotions.

You can always tell a friend, talk with a professional, etc. I had bad.. parent. The trauma stuck for years until I talk someone and I was crying, suddenly all the emotions I've been bottle up was gone and felt good. Better.

This is my experience but it is what it is.

I used to push down all my feelings and bottle them up too until I exploded. And now I can never tell what I'm feeling anymore, other than some rare moments or certain emotions

It's not a good thing to do yourself and it helps to have people you can tell or some way to help you manage those emotions in a healthy way
