Cursor is constantly ignoring clear instructions in .cursor/rules

I have a bunch of Cursor Rules with clear metadata and attachment, and I also have a rule to write Cursor Rules. However, Cursor seems to continually ignore a lot of the rules even when writing the Cursor Rules and also even when following them.

And even when I start new chats and ask it to make a change in those chats, it still hallucinates a lot and ignores clear instruction in the rules. How do I overcome this issue?

Try these fixes: Apply Intelligently Cursor follow rules explicitly when you tag the folder where the rules are, after once it’s applied the rules should be applied afterwards all the time.

I can continue explaining or giving a proper workflow about the rules and how to reduce hallucinations.
