#Any recent news on catching up with upstream VS Code releases?

Hey all - I'm wondering if there have been any recent updates from the Cursor team on keeping up with upstream VS Code releases.

I found a few forum posts here, here, and here but it doesn't look like there has been a lot of movement since.

I'm asking because I'm seeing more and more extensions requiring a more recent VS Code version - most recently the TypeScript (Native Preview) extension announced on May 22nd.

Does anyone know anything?

The Cursor team is actively addressing this challenge and acknowledges the importance of maintaining seamless integration with the latest VS Code releases.

While it’s a complex task, the team remains committed to keeping Cursor aligned with upstream VS Code changes.
