@cunning niche so, I'm currently levelling a holy priest through questing (this is a healing spec, so damage is reduced) I generally don't have issues when there's 3-4 enemies. but no matter your class, you WILL face issues when there's 5+ enemies, especially when it's your first time playing. but yeah, if priest is the first class you played, try out the other classes through exile's reach, it will give you a general idea of the specs and you can pick from there which playstyle you want to go with.

The pin tracking can be turned on and off while it remembers its location on the map. And you see a pointer on the main screen, but only if you are closer than 1000 yards. It shows the proper height of your destination if it was placed automatically for a quest, but not great if you put it on the map manually.

@pallid fulcrum I think there's a bug out there that doesn't make it available sometimes. I have found that if you come from exile's reach, and skip the tour, it won't be available, but if you do the tour, you default to BfA

You shouldn't have needed to go to Highmountain. Zandalar is the right place. You start it by picking a quest in Orgrimmar marked with an exclamation mark on a shield.

Ah, so you levelled in another continent. Check if the orc by the board and table in Orgrimmar (in front of the Warchief building) doesn't have a quest for you. @pallid fulcrum

EDIT: It appears you can experience old scenarios by talking with Archivist Sylvia located in Orgrimmar in the Valley of Wisdom (46, 48), someone had a picture of her offering the Battle for Lordaeron in a screenshot, but when I speak with her on my level 17 troll, she does not offer it.

Well, by the new design, if you are able to talk to Chromie in the first place, then you are no longer a newcomer.

@cobalt flint I tested it on the ptr when the pre patch was there, and never did ptr before. I could access chromie time on the 2nd character after I finished exile's reach on the first character

@tawdry scaffold you need to finish the class hall campain, and an achievement. the class hall quests will continue at level 45

the vulpera is just the voldun quests and then you're good to go
so yeah, if you play 8-10 hours a day you should be able to unlock them in 2 days ish. I usually finish a BFA zone in 4-8 hours. but I'm not the most efficient player out there

If the tooltip doesn't say it, and you don't have a passive that says it, it doesn't do it.
It does have the Pandemic-effect though, letting you refresh it to 150% of its regular duration
So it can last 9 seconds if you cast it twice.
Easiest way to test it is just to find a mob and do it, though π
There's some incentive to make use of the pandemic effect as an Spriest, due to their Mastery, as DP has a good chunk of upfront damage, just wait until the last 3 seconds before casting it to get the full effect.

So Priest obviously has 2 healing specs that play very differently.
Holy Priest has strong bursts of healing when you need it, followed by lulls of lower amounts of healing. All in all a great beginner healer, as the sheer amount of panic buttons make mistakes less punishing.
Discipline heals by doing damage, which is a very unique playstyle. It's hard to give it an explanation that gives it justice.
Restoration Shaman has lots of stuff going on, with lots of regular upkeep to keep you busy.

Sorry - Ranger's Net was removed at the start of BfA. I don't think there are any items that do CC. You just have to have an appropriate class along. The rogue and druid spells still exist.

In short, it's not something you'll get while just levelling up. In fact, you can't have it on your first Levelling run through Zandalar at all.
You also need to do some world quests, but those will come automatically when you get the Reps.

Spamming Dungeons can yield a decent amount of XP, but between Queue times, the unreliability of groupmates and some dungeons just being worse than others for XP, it's not worth it if you want to go fast.
Queueing while questing or queueing as a tank or healer mitigates one of these issues, but not the others.

I'd suggest Northern Stranglethorn or Desolace.
The old-world phase of Arathi Highlands should also suffice for that level.
Stranglethorn is more convenient though, as it lets you just go to the Cape of Stranglethorn afterwards to continue levelling your pets.

you can only target one mob at a time,however using sunfire instead of moonfire could help
since sunfire is multitarget and moonfire is single target
also if your sunfire instakills them,spamming the macro will make it target a new mob

really just do what you want,expansion is coming out end of this month so gearing is not an issue

so that means you need to be lvl 50 to get it

Hey im shadow priest however i dont like using a dagger, if i use a different weapon like lights wrath (BTW this is for Legion/Legion Artifact) would that impact my performance severely?

There is no tangible difference in performance if you use a staff or a dagger and offhand
Also in the terms of legion artifacts,you're kinda pigeonholed into that artifact
As shadow can only use the dagger,discipline only lights wrath etc
BUT you can trasmog it to something else

But yeah if you chose legion,you're stuck with the dagger until 50
