Question: Friend and i are leveling alts, and suddenly his alt started listing his level different in dungeons. Since level 30, every dungeon we do lists his level as "30 (X)" (X is his actual level). This doesnt seem to happen for anyone else, it just lists normal levels for everyone else

So, Im 50 and I want to do Legion. I picked up the initial quest, then took To Be Prepared (where you have to take part in some activities at the docks). Upon turning in this quest, I saw for a fraction of a second the NPC had the next quest, but he phased out. I have the marker on my map telling me there's a quest where the NPC used to be, but Im unable to get into its phase to pick it up and continue....

If it's your first character and you don't have access to Chromie, don't do that. You would have to switch continent at level 30. Otherwise, at level 10 go to Chromie, choose the timeline, and you are good to go.

It's tough to really pinpoint the real main questline. In a lot of them you help fight Lich King's forces or his allies. There are some crucial moments, but you can't know where they are if you don't just go in and try to do everything.

I think WoD was the first expansion where certain quests were marked with an orange exclamation mark, but they were rare and you would miss a lot if you didn't do the others. It seems like Shadowlands might be the first one with clear separation of main and side quests, but I haven't played beta, so I'm not sure how it works out in practice.
