@mild spoke it'll be easier to level a character to 50 in BfA since you have to do it anyway. And you don't need to enable Chromie Time to do old content, that just makes the content scale for leveling. You can level a character to 50 and then just go back and curb-stomp stuff, which will be easier

@maiden oasis mkay, well you'll wanna start off with TBC. To kick that off ideally, go to the Blasted Lands and talk to the bronze dragon npc to change it to the pre-WoD version. You'll recognize her by the speech bubble on the map. From there, fly through the Dark Portal (the big green thingie in the crater). Once you go through, you'll be in the Hellfire Peninsula and will see a quest from someone there to get you started on your faction's hub to get going

And make sure you have tracking low-level quests enabled in your minimap

@maiden oasis convenience, really. Chromie scales the content to your level, so if you don't do Chromie you'll be leveled over that stuff and can just sail through it. The convenience aspect being that if you get those "kill x of these things" quests, you can just zip through them so you can do more quests in the smaller amount of time

so at ~8pm or 9pm on Friday for US, and same time on Saturday for EU

I think it's just based on what mobs are present outside of the N'zoth assault area before the reset, but lemme just go check which mobs are there
majority of the mobs outside of the N'zoth Assault area are mantid, so most likely they're going to be the ones active immediatelly after reset

@analog tartan If you are a new player, with no max lvl toon, you will be forced into Exiles Reach, into Battle for Azeroth. After that toon reaches max lvl, you can go back and explore or make an alt and choose an xpac to lvl to max in at lvl 10

So I've started playing wow for the first time and I'm playing Blood Death Knight. After coming from FFXIV, is it normal to sometimes not have to be pressing a button immediately for the next gcd? In FFXIV, racing the gcd and trying to fit in off globals without clipping was a big thing. To recognize a dungeon quest, in your quest log/map the quest will be listed in its own dropdown list under the name of the dungeon, and will have a blue circle icon next to the quest name. In order to complete that quest you need to access the dungeon, the easiest way to do that is to queue in the dungeon finder by selecting the specific dungeon you have the quest for

as for you hydra, hunter has 2 ranged and a melee spec, one being more mobile in BM (beastmaster) and one more "tower" like being MM (marksman), SV (survival) is melee
all 3 are dps specs
taming and collecting rare pets is also pretty appealing to some^^
mages 3 specs are also all 3 dps with differing play styles
Arcane burns its mana then tries to recover and conserve it before burning again, Fire is based on landing crits to get instant casts of longer cast time spells and frost works on a proc like playstyle using frostbolt to get 2 possible procs making other abilities stronger/available
it's ofc a VERY brief lil overview of the classes
l play mage atm and probably stay mage, having portals, food, int buff and timewarp is pretty neat
well back to work for now hope it helped a little

tho i'd suggest doing the war campaign in the opposite faction's zones
that should give you some xp,also queue up in the dungeon finder for xp

What does it mean when I receive a quest with a red wax stamp seal? For Example I received the quest "return of the black prince" (horde) and there was a Red wax horde seal on the quest description.

I've tried talking to Chromie to end my current campaign (I'm level 50) and I am trying to enter mythic Karazhan but I am getting a error message of "You cannot enter this instance while participating in a Timewalking Campaign." Anyone help me out here?
