MoP was the only time you could reroll mounts from World Bosses because the Reroll system was added in MoP patch 5.2. The System was still new and Blizz was playing around with what they would let be rerolled, so they added the World Boss mounts to the loottable rerolls could pull from.

As a hunter, kinda. I did it on my Alliance alt, a Draenai BM Hunter. You get a Spirit beast pet, the bandage gun from the AH and use your pets healing special on the boss, the bandages on the boss and your Draenai racial on the boss.

Those are th Mythic Levels
The highest gear you can obtain is Mythic15
Anything above is purely for RIO and fun, plus extra rewards such as extra Titan Residue in the Weekly Chest
Basically you can do a Mythic+ Level 23
And get Mythic 15 gear
But in the Weekly Chest you get 475 Gear and also extra TitanRes, echoes and a key that is one level below what you timed
So you’d get a 22 key because you did a 23 key

If it is, it's fairly simply a way for the Ret Paladin to bring extra utility to the party.
By keeping them limited to 1 target at a time, you not only get to have them a tad more powerful than they'd otherwise be, but it makes bringing several Ret Paladins not have diminishing returns.
Imagine a world where you decide to bring a Ret Paladin instead of someone else specifically because of these buffs
Why would you ever bring more than one Paladin, if the one Paladin can just provide the buff for all your party members at the same time?
That's why it has a target limit, pretty much. So they get a little more powerful, and so it makes sense to bring more than one.
As for why they're not just 1 big buff.
You rarely want to put those buffs on the same targets.
Blessing of Kings should either be on a tank, or someone you expect to be taking a lot of small instances of damage throughout the encounter.
Blessing of Wisdom should always be on a Healer or an Arcane Mage.
You -can- put them on the same target, in case a Healer or Arcane Mage also happen to be taking a lot of damage (or are lower geared than the rest of your group and need the extra effective health.)
But in most situations, they shouldn't be on the same target.

It is true that Blessing of Wisdom provides a small bit of Health Regen to a tank. But let's put it into perspective.
If the tank has, say, 700k Health, that 1% Health healing will equal 7k per tick. (Which is of course few and far inbetween). A Healer of a similar gear level might cast a spell for 3k Mana (or 3 ticks of the effect) for 30k Healing.
This is a net-gain in healing on the group of about 9k Healing (which admittedly isn't a lot), but it can go on anyone, not just the tank.
That 1 extra spell might be just what the healer needs to save a DPS from going down and the group losing too much DPS to defeat the boss.
If the Blessing was on the tank, that flexibility and versatility is gone.
And of course, the Healer still receives healing from the Blessing, as an added bonus.

Since SWTOR having 8 different full stories, most with multiples endings and paths, (and written by bioware) was pretty nice.
I know I've heard developers say "The main character of WoW is the world".
And I know the world has evolved over time-- since I'm joining so late, will I be missing out on that kind of history?

They converge at basically any time after level 10, I'd say? There are still key points like expansion starting areas and such but.. you can generally go anywhere (within level restrictions)
there are bits and pieces that are missing or that have moved on since the launch of the game; entire world was changed at one point during cataclysm, but again it's.. nothing -too- major or vital, mainly background that you kinda won't notice unless you specifically go looking for it at this point

you should probably start from the start. Boosts aren't intended for new players; purely to avoid exactly what you're having where it floods you with abilities and other stuff
you can read through this to try and learn, but you'll learn better by levelling from 1

yeah, well it's why people tell you not to do it, because it's just not smart to do. There's nothing to really teach you at max level, so you have to figure it out on your own. The guide I linked will have rotations and talents to pick from to help you play at least, so give that a read through

Hi everyone, I'm a returning player after doing heavy end-game raiding through Cata. I skipped MoP, then dabbled in WoD, Legion, and BFA. I've pre-ordered Shadowlands and recently reached 120 on my main (https://www.wowhead.com/attunement#us-argent-dawn-juukbra).
Even after reading and watching guides on this topic, I still cannot figure out how to establish my 2nd and 3rd Foothold (Vol'dun and Nazmir). My ultimate goal is to be properly attuned in BfA so that I'm ready for Shadowlands (I would also like to unlock flying, which I know I need to finish Pathfinder parts 1 and 2 and figure out what/if I need to do regarding Azerite gear and essences and so on...).

The footholds are usually level-locked, I think they open up around every 2 or so. You need to actually finish / progress in the war campaign to open them up also

Thanks, I thought I'd tried that, but I will double check. I thought I was supposed to get quests from the War Campaign Ship and not seeing any there had me stumped.

Sometimes it can be elsewhere, even the other continent entirely. You might have left a quest there or missed something, but generally the war campaign part on your quest tab will give you directions of where to go

As a returning player looking for a guild, are the "Looking For..." channels here better than something like the wowguilds subreddit, or mmo-champ forums, etc or is it all about the same? I just don't want to go blindly into a new guild and realize after the fact there was a better approach. I was in the same guild for many years. Now that I'm returning, that guild no longer has active members.
