There should be a portal directly to Stormwind in your DK starting zone.

#

If you leveled to 60 before finishing the DK story (which normally doesn't happen, but could with the XP buff currently in place), you must complete the DK story first.

#

If it says to go to Stormwind to learn flying, but nothing else is telling you to go to Stormwind, then don't go to Stormwind yet.

@fathom crane If you are not familiar with the Draenor layout, I would not recommend a portal skip. Go to Blasted Lands (southeastern Eastern Kingdoms) and pick up the quest from Kadghar by the Dark Portal.

Right clicking/left clicking a trinket on my UI swaps it out for the top slot, but I have no fast way to swap out the bottom slot. Is there any way to toggle switching to the bottom slow, or is there a working WoW Classic addon that helps?

The only thing with a macro like that to me is like what if I want to swap the item to top slot, I would need to have that set (which I can do normally) and the macro then I believe, so two things on my UI for the same item

@pseudo laurel If you have Draenor flying unlocked, you can just use the portal to Ashran and fly to where your garrison is going to be (or rather the shore where the quest NPCs are). You could do this without flying, if you don't mind longer travel time (but better at least have a way to cross water more efficiently than regular swimming).

Communities mostly. Roleplay servers have roleplayers, normal generally dont. Theres no real difference between them

There are a few tangible differences

#

Sharding is largely disabled on Roleplaying servers, meaning that you won't see players from other servers in the open world unless:

You're in a current content zone (So currently BfA areas, Uldum and the Vale) Also includes Orgrimmar and Stormwind.
The other player is in a party with someone on your server
You're in a party with someone from another server
You're in Warmode

The game seems to still prefer to shard roleplaying realms together, if possible, when it has to.

What this mean is a more coherent community. It's way more likely to find the same people again by accident on an RP realm
But on the other hand, the world is just significantly less populated to begin with.

Other than that, it's mostly just community, as Macho said
You're thousands of times more likely to find people actively roleplaying on roleplaying servers
They're usually frowned upon on non-RP realms, from what I've seen.

One location to pick this up is at Lorna's Watch, Stormheim /way 37.39 63.71. Just to the right of the tent leaning against a crate. You can also follow the starting quest chain in Stormheim and a few quest into the zone you will also find it in another location.
