It's too early to say what will be good in Shadowlands, and honestly Blizzard are fairly good at keeping them at an equal level unless you play frame-perfectly. Just play what you think looks coolest or you like the playstyle of the most.

Alright, so i started in a TW server cuz its the closest to me and thus the lowest ping (around 80ms, vs. US with 200+ms)
I looked over at the TW store to buy some gametime for my starter edition account and im quite surprised -- their gametime already includes the full expansion! Lucky folks TW folks! can't believe Blizzard is playing favoritism in this region, not requiring players to buy the expansion.
On top of that they sell a 30-hr gametime for players who can only play on the weekends.
So glad i tried this region.

arcane mage is based around spending and conserving mana with your arcane blast and arcane runes - spamming missles isnt the worst thing early on and is fine if youre just solo levelling, but you might want to look into the spec some more

@supple kraken it's completely random - some play as tanks, others as DPS - I have had a RL who would even change his main based on missing roles in the roster each tier
so your class/spec doesn't really matter as RL as long as you are capable of handling both roles

@narrow star Awesome so long as you have the races unlocked your good. When it comes to which race is better there days depending on who you talk to you'll get a different view point. Generally the difference varies with misc. utilities they have not physical stat buffs these days. The Zandalari do have a heal they have which is a racial which can be nice for a warrior since you would have to rely on potions and food to heal after an intense fight. Mag'Har have a reduced time on all posions , diseases and curses which could be helpful if you plan to PVP. Really comes down to what you want to do and which character you like the "look" of.

With mythic pluses you can run them as much as you would like. For example you can run as many +6 Freehold as you would like in a week. It only locks you out of the basic Mythic 0 and anything up from there will not lock you out. You may get loot its just random RNG to be honest. Some runs you might get loot others not. You will still get loot in your weekly chest as well. @pallid fulcrum

I would recommend you keep on questions and if you would like you can do a dungeon. They off good experience and loot for your character. You can access the dungeon finder by pressing " I " on your keyboard. You select a role and most of the time leave the "Type" on random and then hit "Find Group" depending on your class and spec it may go quick or slow.

They are hit and miss we have all had some guilds not pan out as we wanted. I would recommend you keep your eye out for guilds that advertise they're " social " or ones that's that members of all levels/skills. You could also check out the guild finder in-game and see if you can find any that way.
There is also a guild recruitment channel here in this Discord depending if your US or EU.

WoW requires a more reliable net quality than most other stuff. A few delayed or lost packets and it will boot you.
You can try to connect via 4G tethering and see if that's more stable to see if it's your net.
It could also be your machine acting up.
But these things are hard to trouble shoot.
