If you help the Oracles, then you start to get hated with Frenzy Heart. There is a way to get both to exalted, I just haven't tried it, maybe one day I will.

Combat in wow now is much more dynamic and dungeons are easy you dont really "fail" a dungeon in wow up until endgame.

If you play classic you can die simply by pulling more than 1-2 mobs at the same time during leveling phase

But in bfa as soon as you start the game you can aggro like 10 adds x)

I've only seen 1 botter so far over maybe 4 days of time played, and classic offers a more laid back and rpg-based environment that retail can't match
That being said I think retail is still the better product, and that classic isn't for everyone

@pallid fulcrum Check in your spellbook at what level you will get your next ability and try again then. Maybe it will be what you need to tip the balance in your favor. Also, at level 10 you will gain access to different specializations; perhaps one of them will be better suited for that particular fight.

Frost is probably the easiest/safest due to the high volume of slows and roots that you get

#

All of them are viable though, but you might need to sit down and eat/drink more with the other two.

Specializations can be changed anywhere as long as you are not in combat. Talents only in rest zones (like inns or anywhere in capital cities).

Unfortunately, there is not many ways we can help you. You would need to find someone who levelled through around that level recently to confirm how they got to it. Dalaran should be flying above Karazhan, but I can't remember if you can just fly there or if you need to find the teleport to the special version of it.

Sudden Death is a free max execute which is stupid high damage

Double Time helps rage regen immensely (double charge is about ~60 rage)

#

(though storm bolt can be better if your doing PvP)

Massacre is the only really good option until you have Azerite

#

For 60, either of the two highlighted are helpful (Second Wind is decent regen out of combat, while defensive helps you survive everything)

#

Cleave helps your sustained AOE a bunch, while Warbreaker helps AOE burst

#

Second Wind helps you heal up between fights (and healing during combat shouldn't be an issue really unless your trying to solo group combat, in which case you have a number of useful defensive cooldowns)

Yeah Second wind is okay-ish, what I meant is I'm not able to take on dozens of mobs at once like I was able to with my paladin, which I don't know if its a skill issue or just the spec not being as good in these situations

I think talents that change the way your spec plays in a major way should be a thing

Example: Have monks get a 40% mastery buff if they cast two Rising Sun Kicks in a row

Using the same ability in a row as a monk isn't advised, neither is waiting for a cooldown

I think I finally clicked as to why I've always liked Paladin and am not a huge fan of Warriors, it's this... Versatility

Sometimes as a Warrior I'll actually struggle handling some rare elites and I feel sometimes like I need a tank or a healer

as a Retribution Pally I feel like I'm the whole squad all to myself

I can tank decently well, I have sustain and utility for days, and I can still hit like a truck

Iirc that's exactly what guild leaders don't want for raids in late game but I just don't care, Ret Pally is kinda just made for me

I see. I was a little confused cause I couldn't find much documentation about that lol. I know my stat priority is versatil/mastery and then haste/crit so I was trying to figure out what was causing crit to be my highest stat, despite it being lowest in priority

Obviously having 0 crit would be a bad idea, but I guess as long as I'm prioritizing vers/mast in gear stats I'll still have that as an option

@deft kraken I'm a bit late but in classic the best warriors are normally human or troll for pve and dwarf/gnome or tauren/orc for pvp
But play what you think is coolest, unless you're going hardcore most don't care and will just be happy to have a good tank or good dps player with them

If you're new you really don't need heirlooms, they're more a tool for a veteran player that's already leveled a few times. But you choose based on your class's armor type

That's enough gold, yes, and heirlooms are for faster leveling. Again, geared towards people who have already leveled a lot rather than new folk. But you can find in [heirloom guide]
