Casual+/Semi-Casual - Highly group/community focused, looking to find like minded people wanting to kick back, relax, kill and chilllll in Northrend

Focus will be normal mode with some hardmode/heroic prog when possible.
We are a very lax guild that doesn't look at it's players for absolute min-max culture, more to ensure everyone is having a good time in a fun raid environment while still downing bosses in a reasonable manner.

A handful of us will be on the PTR to test Ulduar

Description
I created a guild called <Dungeons and Diapers> or <DAD> for SoD exclusively. It is going to be an Alliance guild on a PVP NA Server.

It is a guild crafted for parents and working professionals. The balancing act of living our lives and wanting to be a decorated raider is difficult to manage. We’re offering a community and a flexible gaming schedule. We're fully expecting you to either be in between meetings, changing diapers, or slamming dungeons… and we're here to play together and be understanding that interruptions happen.

There will be a strong focus on maintaining a laid-back atmosphere, understanding that real-life responsibilities come first. However, when it's game time, we rely on every member's contribution to tackle content together. Teamwork is paramount and participation is key as we'll be working towards enjoying all the new content that will be released.

Right now, we anticipate our raiding schedule to start at 8pm EST on Monday and Thursday (subject to change). Nobody will be rushed to get to level 25 by a certain date. We will be a small core group and are unlikely to have multiple raiding groups. You do not have to raid. However, you do generally have to show some activity and contribute/collaborate.

A brief overview of the guild

Cherry Dogs is a core group of friends that have played together since 2019 Vanilla Classic and have went through all the classic servers together Vanilla>TBC>Wrath, we plan on exploring ALL of the Season of Discovery content that they plan on releasing. We have a history of speed running throughout all of the phases of Vanilla Classic. A lot of us enjoy pvp so there's a place for that aswell. We enjoy some good banter but we keep it professional and general vibes upbeat during raid sometimes things just happen and we wipe and die its just a game. We want to make sure everyone playing with us is having the best time possible and we're building a fresh roster so at this time we're welcoming all roles to the guild. Casuals and new players are welcome phases are long and we're more than happy to help you get on your feet.

Raiding mentality

We want to show up fully world buffed, consumes fully packed in bags and everyone pumped up to put some numbers up and have a smooth fast clear everytime we walk into a raid while maintaining patience. Maybe a couple meme's here n there during the trash or we chuck on the music bot for the boys to enjoy. We want to absolutely free farm all the SoD content and blow through it with ease so we want our raiders to be motivated to blow through everything this season has to offer.

A brief overview of the guild

Cherry Dogs is a core group of friends that have played together since 2019 Vanilla Classic and have went through all the classic servers together Vanilla>TBC>Wrath, we plan on exploring ALL of the Season of Discovery content that they plan on releasing. We have a history of speed running throughout all of the phases of Vanilla Classic. A lot of us enjoy pvp so there's a place for that as well. We enjoy some good banter but we keep it professional and general vibes upbeat during raid sometimes things just happen and we wipe and die its just a game. We want to make sure everyone playing with us is having the best time possible and we're building a fresh roster so at this time we're welcoming all roles to the guild. Casuals and new players are welcome phases are long and we're more than happy to help you get on your feet.

Raiding mentality

We want to show up fully world buffed, consumes fully packed in bags and everyone pumped up to put some numbers up and have a smooth fast clear everytime we walk into a raid while maintaining patience. Maybe a couple meme's here n there during the trash or we chuck on the music bot for the boys to enjoy. We want to absolutely free farm all the SoD content and blow through it with ease so we want our raiders to be motivated to blow through everything this season has to offer. Warlock alts are going to be required by all raiders before we hit level 60 for summoning alts to speed run world buffs as a guild

We are openly recruiting people that want to raid, who are non toxic and team players. Currently our raid times are Wednesdays starting between 7pm to 730pm server. Days and times could change when P4 info is released. We are a growing two-year-old late night/weekend guild dedicated to non-toxic vibing, and we've been on SoD Living Flame (Horde) since the start of phase 1. No matter your skill level, time investment, or history in WoW, we believe video game communities should be relaxing and fun! Our two main goals beyond chilling out are purple loot and friendship. However, that doesn't have to mean we don't push some semi-sweaty content while we relax: in retail we are proudly 6/9M (mythic raid prog) last tier, and a lot of us like to push 3k in m+ and 2100+ in PVP rating, too. In SoD we like to see big numbers sometimes but aren't too worried about it and aren't aspeed-running anything. Most of us think of SoD like a nice slower-paced retail break. We are chill but organized af!

We are recruiting for teams across all content: We are recruiting on SoD for 20-person raids with the weekly reset plus our shenanigans-day for various dungeons and other content like running PVP groups for battlegrounds and world PVP events. If you would like to check out our overall community and you are on another server, that's okay with us, because we will be cross-realm when The War Within starts in retail and we are happy to help you level/gear up in SoD phase 4 if you join us on Living Flame!

4/8M AOTC + SOD Actually Trash is recruiting! 🚮 ✨

We are a growing two-year-old late night/weekend guild on Area-52 dedicated to non-toxic vibing. No matter your skill level, time investment, or history in WoW, we believe video game communities should be relaxing and fun! Our main goals are having a fun chill time, purple loot, and friendship. However, that doesn't have to mean we don't push some semi-sweaty content while we relax: we wereproudly 6/9M (mythic raid prog) last tier, currently 8/8 heroic (AOTC) 4/8 mythic, and a lot of us like to push 3k in m+ and 2100+ in PVP rating, too. We are chill but organized af!

We are recruiting for teams across all content: our 10v10 rated battleground team and PVP blitz duos, mythic raid roster currently progging Princess, semi-casual heroic raid roster (second team forming in progress), and designated (plus flexible) guild m+ teams all have some potential for growth. We are also on Season of Discovery (transferred from Living Flame to Crusader Strike - Horde) and raid AQ, BWL. and MC with the weekly resets. We are also on the Classic Anniversary realm Nightslayer (PVP -Alliance).

If you also laugh at weird pugs that rage in groups for no reason, this is probably a great fit for you! If you approach the game without mean-spiritedness, that's our whole deal! We are in a new guild that focuses on helping new players and returning players to the game we also host events where we go after whatever gear that anyone needs.

We do want to get into trials and other content as soon as possible but our main focus is making sure everyone has what they need

Maintain 90-95% Attendance.

Preparation for Raids
All consumes and raid related chores are to be completed before raid time, not 10 minutes before causing you to be late/unprepared
Leveraging professions that increase your DPS if you have them
Installing the latest weakaura version + DBM to avoid in raid mistakes due to errors
Properly specd for any roles you were assigned to before hand + using raid talents in general.
Full gems & enchants
Reviewed raid sheets for assignments on bosses + Reviewed any bosses you are not familiar with.
Regardless, bosses will be explained in depth by our raid leaders but coming in completely blind will only hinder your ability to learn the encounters futhermore

Performance & Responsibility
Mechanics > Parse always
Actively working on self performance and how you could improve week to week
Utilizing logs to correct mistakes and bolster your understanding of your class
Asking questions regarding your responsibility for a specific role if you're unsure (Kick assignments, CC rotations, when to lust, etc)
Taking accountability for mistakes, rather than pinning the blame on others
Willing to take a DPS loss to make bosses / encounters go smoother.
Leaning on each other week to week will overall make the ecosystem of the raid comfortable. If we are always relying on one person to make the right plays when that person doesn't it wont feel good.

Splits
If able, raiders are heavily encouraged (and often incentivized) to partake in planned split raiding for targeting specific loot.
What are splits? Splits is using alts to run a raid to hard-reserved and obtain rare loot for mains. An example will be our Gruul Splits for DST.

🚮 ✨ AOTC previously 6/8M <Actually Trash> is recruiting! for Midnight and TBC-Nightslayer

We are a growing three-year-old late night/weekend guild dedicated to non-toxic vibing. No matter your skill level, time investment, or history in WoW, we believe video game communities should ultimately be relaxing and fun! Our main goals are having a nice good vibey time, purple loot, and friendship. However, that doesn't have to mean we don't push some semi-sweaty content while we relax: we were proudly 6/8M last tier, 6/9M (mythic raid prog) Amirdrassil, and always like to get AOTC within the first month or so. A lot of us like to push 3k in m+ and 2100+ in PVP rating, too. We absolutely don't care if you perform well in raid, m+, or PVP if you're a mean butthead.

We are recruiting for teams across all content: mythic raid roster, semi-casual heroic raid roster (heroic-only team runs Sunday/Monday, mythic-focused team Friday/Saturday, casual normal/heroic Tuesdays), and designated (plus flexible) guild m+ teams all have some potential for growth. We used to be on Season of Discovery (transferred from Living Flame to Crusader Strike - Horde) and raided Scarlet Enclave and Naxx, plus AQ, BWL, MC, and Nightmare Dragons a whole lot. Since Season of Discovery died, we've slowly moved to the Classic Anniversary realm Nightslayer (PVP-Alliance) and treated it as a TBC waiting room. We raid there Wednesday/Thursday for 10person raids and Sunday for 25-person raids. We're also pretty cozy on classic and aren't very sweaty or at all parse-focused.

If you also chuckle when weird manbaby pugs rage in groups for no reason, this is probably a great fit for you! If you approach the game without mean-spiritedness, that's our whole deal! We tend to kick people who are abusive towards pugs, creepy, anti-LGBTQIA+, or just stinky in general. Our community is a safe place to make mistakes and learn how to GIT GUD together!

<Knights of Lordaeron> (whitemane, classic era) is recruiting lvl 60s for 40‑man raids. MC/BWL weekends (currently Sunday 5pm server time), 20‑mans weekdays (currently Wednesday 5pm server time).
