The runes are the same, and yes it is a recolor. However, it's unique compared to the other three. Which each are tied to a spec. Obviously I'm not going to say we're getting a new spec. Just that it's a vague possibility. Alternatively I could see it as this is the sword you get for completing the zone, while you get the others depending on spec when you start it

And yes, the runes are different colors, and rune forging is specific to rune color. Rune forging is one of the most important Deathknight characteristics

On further inspection, now this could just be wowhead being wowhead, the 3 spec swords are all the color of the blood sword, which indicates that the orange one plans on being obtained in a seperate way

#

What interests me is how Dark irons will work as DK's. Will they have orange, blue, or purple glowing eyes?

Not sure where to ask this question.... if I'm on the wrong channel please let ne know. I've become intrigued with the thought they may add dragon isles as a small zone. I looked it up on wow head and it says the initial concept had a big squid structure. Kinda looks like crucible of storms any in game lore that explain why that would be?

The dragon isles originally was going to be a lvl 60 raid off the coast of tirisfal glades in alpha vanilla concept art,however it was cut and the zone didnt even get far enough to get texturing,which is why it appears as a gray mass

The point being: like the Vulpera or no, the Horde got essentially a completely custom race save for the base skeleton. Unique, with new faces, customization, etc. For Alliance, we got normal gnomes with the same old faces who wear diapers and have robot limbs. And some new hairstyles.

I know what the phrase means @dense plover and to be fair I have an answer for that (regarding being sick of zones) - but obviously theres a lot of design implications and decisions that would need to be discussed beneath simply 'making the zones evergreen' but I dont think this is place to fo into such detail

I've thought about it enough to argue that the benefit is there. Of course you might not agree, but i don't believe it's ok to dismiss it as 'you think you do but you dont' when I havent really expressed what I think except a high level opinion on a potential design direction for open world content

It makes the wqs act as hotspots for player activity (at least early expansion before flying and rewards become more irrelevant)

Ehh Kul Tiras or Zandalar were both common guesses, the surprise was having both, although some fans did suggest it, but not as islands but as full-fledged, faction-specific continents.

But yeah the transition from Argus to KT/Zandalar was something. It was not obvious. Normally one expansion's continents don't really tie into the next expansion's continents.

Yeah the armor set recolors are themed after the Old Gods but for some reason they really messed up the Yogg one. The green doesn't match Yogg or Saronite at all, it's too green.

First one is good, second one is good, third one is good, and then... Weird green that doesn't match any other Old God design or color scheme seen before

Here's my theory for Bolvar in 8.3.5/9.0 In 8.3 we are told that ||Azshara planned to use Xal'atath to absorb N'zoth|| we are also told ||we defeated N'zoth|| in datamined broadcast text. It can be inferred that we did indeed stab N'zoth with the blade of the black Empire. Absorbing his power into a trecherous artifact. I believe that Bolvar is going to invade or capture this blade, and use the flase light of the old god to build a new army of Deathknights. Thus enter the Dark flame spec. N'oth himself is a dark flame. His surface blazes bright masking the darkness below. In Naz'jatar you can look into some Abysses and see a burning light. When N'zoth wakes his eye opens a bright burning light. When you look at N'zoth he is holding flame between his skull. N'zoth has ties to the Firelands and the Earth Warder. N'zoth is a God of flame

Keep in mind they won't just be doing AR for the revamped zone, so that would force all DK's to have orange eyes, I think it should be based on spec equiped, showing the power you weild. Blood red, firey orange, ice blue, and sickly green, not fell green

But yeah adding new specs isn't impossible. They just won't add new content to legion. You'd just use a normal weapon from 90-100 all you need for legion with new classes/specs is to give the player access to a mission table

Most island expedition teams are based on a class, every character has unique abilities, not just the Tinkers. Tinkers were the only group that was based on a non playable class

Uhm actually (and correcting myself) it's 4 expansions. I mean, 2 were basically wholly leaked, and then 2 more were leaked succinctly (in a few sentences).

All of them were leaked literally just a few days (less than a week) before BlizzCon. So all the leaks you see years/months in advance are likely to be false.
