So I'd like to point something out. We've seen DK AR skins, we've seen the Litch King story in BFA and legion. Now we see 4 swords added with the appropriate Item level for the DK starting zone. 3 of the four apply to the specs. 1 of the four is based on Bolvar's state of being. I believe it's possible along with the Deathknight start zone Revamp, DK's will receive an additional class, the Flame spec. Based on the concept of using dragon fire to create an undead state. We could be getting a Molton skintones similar to Bolvar as well. However this could also be the first class "skin" allowing the hero to take on the role without needing new mechanics. My third theory is that there is a small group of deathknights akin to Kylo Rhen's Knight's of Rhen. Who would take on the role of a deathknight of flame. If the third theory is the actuality I see it being more of an honorary role rather than a new spec. One thing I noticed that pointed to a new spec was the rune on the blades. As you know runes for deathknights are important. It's what gives their weapons magical ability. To me the fact that the flame sword has unique rune colors indicates a new type of runic magic, and thus a new spec, however it could just be a visual decision to blend with the flame. I believe this was planned in legion. As you know legion had a mythic deathknight set that was black with flames, which is unique to past sets as deathknights had never been tied to flame besides Bolvar himself.
