If there isn't, it's just straight up word of god. 99% of Chronicle is thus word of god. Omniscient narrative perspective.
No reason to call it into question at all. Specially when the whole point of those books was specifically to fix things, establish a new base for the lore, and seed the next expansions.

I feel the new portal set up is amazing. Everyoneās getting so butt hurt because they actually have to travel in the game for little old content. So you don't have to take a portal to Hyjal and fly all the way to Caverns of Time, you can just take the portal to Uldum which is right next to Tanaris, it's a 30 seconds flight.
