in game
But it doesn’t work in game
I tried
It didn’t change between incarnation and normal moonkin
fade bug got fixed
Do kul tirans have an incarnation model?
Sweet
Did they change the animation when running to not be ridiculous for zandalari cat?
heres my pic I sent last week, in the dreamgrove
cat anims are the same, the anims were partially made for this form in the first place
that's a neat touch.
Giving Zandalari the ability to tame Dire Horns right out the bat
nice nod to how you have to farm them in the Isle of Dinos to tame Direhorns
Ya.
the intro cutscenes for zandalari and kul tirans got added
Shareeeee please
Nice
wait
Hati becomes a mount?
AND is a pet?
Fuck Ima have to actually reroll to BM aren't I
Yeah Hati’s fucking awesome now
Glad I decided to roll a kt hunter when they come out lol
the thing costs only 9 gold tho
and you can stack 200 so eh im fine with carrying alot of the toys for Hati to become the mount
lol
I find it weird how those Pandas have cloaks matching the Zandalar(Nazmir version) leather quest/boe gear..
I was trying to go test if zandalari can passively tame direhorns, but you literally cant get to pandaria on the ptr lol
Was announced at Blizzcon
Have they added more portals yet?
Because they removed all of those dalaran portals
none aside from the ones already in the portal room, no
They just need to add the portals from under dalaran
Zandalari still don’t have their background either
I’m so glad horde gets the elekk
It’s cool af
Badass metal elephant
Isn't it the armor-less version ?
Elekk?
Not metal then 😛
Also they're faction-specific ?
The other version is a 1% drop from blackhand I think
And only on mythic
It’s metal as in metal af
It's actually from Exalted Sha'tari I believe
It has melty tusks
And burned skin
Oh
Huh
Did it cost crystals?
Cuz that would be a good reason I don’t have it
Too many ducking crystals
I think it was 10k gold and 5k crystals
yeah I probably didn’t have the resources
I probably do now if I have the rep
Cuz I think I still have 7k crystals
still cant use the crusaders direhorn as a zandalari paladin
Yep that’s why I don’t have it
and got a generic wolf recolor
Heh
Shoulda been the racial mount
Also, if alliance gets a shiny wolf, horde deserves a horse decked out in spikes and hanging skulls
Feathers are nice
a while back, I committed myself to either making my zandalari have green and gold or black and gold, chose black
Horde already got a Horde horse in BFA !
then blizz makes the mount green and gold 😛
arathi
Not the unicorn, right?
Yeah. Broke one of our dear steeds From Arathi and slapped an ugly bone seat on it.
I want a tricked out horse
With skulls and spikes
And the symbol
And like a faceplate
Only if the alliance gets something in return would I ever agree with that
@hollow dock You guys got a Wolf
Is it in the Mount Journel yet?
it isnt
Alright then
theres no mount attached to it yet, just an icon
well obviously 😛
yea. It's only fair after all
please kul'tiran full beard is all i need
Sylvanas Arrests Baine - Patch 8.1.5 (Horde War Campaign Cinematic)
ji got added
interesting that she looks between thalyssra and geyarah on the "most of you need fear nothing" line
Good
oh, that is a surprise
he isnt arrested by dark rangers
but orcs, trolls, and elves
even a tauren
So it shows that baine is the one fucking up
or it just goes to show that Sylvanas actually commands authority
and isn't just another garrosh
who woulda thunk
Baine laying it out thick on her
"You betray the Horde !"
And with everyone seemingly sharing Baine's opinion and worrying about / being pissed at Sylvanas (except Geyarah).. Doesn't bode well for her !
I mean, only like two of them actually say they support baines opinions
Well. She's betraying Thrall's ideas for a reformed horde. But it hasn't been that horde since well. Garrosh.
the others are more concerned for what the action itself will cause in the horde
talanji is fine with it so long as baine gets fair trial
I also said "and worrying about / being pissed at Sylvanas" Port.
Im still curious why they went out of their way to show diverse horde races arresting baine
when the quests themselves have dark rangers ready to do that
I imagine it's to show Sylvanas actually has authority over them and isn't pulling a Garrosh
as they've stated numerous times
I hope so
She hasn't taken steps to completely alienate the horde, unlike Garrosh did.
With his secret police orcs and all
Well killing her own Horde forces and raising theircorpses probably wasn't quite a good PR move.
It wasn't, but fits with the hordes 'Ends justify the means' motto it's adopted from Garrosh.
Thrall tried to change that but ya know. that wasn't all that successful.
It really doesn't.. Most Horde leaders are the absolute opposite of that idea.
Also keep in mind there was another Warchief between Garrosh and Sylvanas.
Which also, burning down teldrassil is perfectlyfinebut killing their own soldiers?
Oh hellno that's to far
Burning Teldrassil was also probably not fine. I believe Lor'themar says something about him having felt uneasy for a while or something.
Like the onlyone that's cared about it was saurfang
It's just an issue that comes with the medium, they can't portray every single character. So they use 2, Saurfang for the 'good' side of the Horde and Sylvanas for the 'bad' side of the Horde. Kind of sucks because it feels like no one else is relevant or has any kind of thoughts on any matter but it's understandable, always been the case in WoW unfortunately.
Which is also just why I really wish they stop the novel narrative they so desperately want to push
it just doesn't work
saurfang didnt even care, he went right to "sylvanas is right" five seconds after getting angry
hes more angry over lordaeron at this point
Fair. If the focus is 90% on the Horde's issues then it becomes even more problematic when the Horde characters can't be used as much as they should.
The horde doesn't care about the civilians that thy killed in the hundreds of thousands but a few dozen of their own men
and then raising them to push the alliance back
THAT was to far
novel narrative could have worked if they yknow, actually gave the novels perspective
and not just "heres five minutes of sylvanas being weird, and the rest is anduin"
"oh and jaina cameo"
I really dislike this faction story they wrote. It just seems so. Misguided
in focus
Like is it legitimately the lordaeron bit that the horde is butthurt over when it comes to Sylvanas' leading when they are seemingly perfectly OK with the essential genocide they caused at Teldrassil? Doesn't that seem a bit. Hypocritical of them?
I heard you guys wanted to give everything in return https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/406282965438562314/542519010399617055/unknown.png
Dangit I just realized it's a missed opportunity. The item should've been called Chalice of Rebirth, not some generic name like 'Fel-tainted vessel'. It has a lore name !
oh nice, burning blade banner independent of a five minute toy finally
Man
Fuck Sylvanas
I thought she would keep Zeilling into custody
She forsakes her own rules
So theres no new broadcast text? @uncut vault
probably putting them into one post
I mean, I know that he might had some humanity and that he paid for betraya but
damn
rip in peace
That was a great cutscene
and I think it does not make Sylvanas seem that bad...not as bad as I imagined.
No matter what you think of their actions, they did betray the Horde, killed loyal horde soldiers.
I love seeing the diverse cast of soldiers arresting him
Blood Elves, forsaken, orcs, troll, TAUREN
They betrayed the Warchief
Not the Horde, they're doing this for the Horde
Same deal as Vol'jin (and his rebellion) basically
I mean, seeing as doing that directly helps the Alliance, thats betraying the Horde
Fight
intentions can be good and all, but its still actively aiding the Alliance
Exactly.
The goal was to save the Horde, and stand up to a Warchief who is literally spitting on every one of our ideals, raising her own forces and all that. The entire point is to go against the Warchief and save the Horde from her. That's why many of the Horde leaders are worried about Sylvanas or what she might do to the Horde or the future of the Horde. None of that is betraying the Horde, it's exactly for the Horde.
The goal was t o stand up in a honorific way
This allowed two things
first : To show every leader that Sylvanas is a threat
like I said, his goals can be good
No, by all definitions of the word, it is a betrayal of the Horde, lol. They killed soldiers, they released a war asset to give to the ENEMY. Conversing with an enemy they are actively at war with, when they just killed your brand new god damn friend.
he still actively aided an alliance leader
and wounded the horde
there are now no known plans for how to deal with the Kul Tiran fleet
Baine is a traitor to sylvanas's horde
in the same way as Vol'jin was a traitor to garrosh
He indeed helped the alliance that's a fact
seeing as voljin didnt do anything before getting assassinated, and baine openly aided the Alliance, not really equivalent
He was disrespecting Garrosh
conflicted his right to be warchief
But
in a certain way
Vol'jin was still different
He was entirely different to be honest.
Still Sylvanas Killed free willed forsakens
And tried to control Derek
She betrayed even the forsaken
and he could have openly opposed her, like Voljin did. But instead, he decided to aid the Alliance and kill horde members
He gave her a valid and good excuse to arrest him
so the portals are actually working in this build
He was foolish
so thats a plus
Baine was foolish
for the most part
dalaran portal npc still says to check upstairs for the brokenshore dalaran portal
With a side allied with Sylvanas and another with Baine
this is a bug I occasionally run into
That...won't work, lol. Highly doubt it
That's a bad idea that won't come to be, Shag
Nobody denied it didn't help the Alliance. But it also helped the Horde. Sylvanas was literally mindcontrolling her own Forsaken, something that apparently even the Forsaken find revolting. She literally betrayed both the Forsaken and the Horde. Baine undoing her plans may obviously have been favorable to the Alliance, the goal was to stop her, and save the Horde. Not a betrayal of the Horde, he betrayed Sylvanas.
There is a difference between betraying the Horde and betraying the Warchief. If the Warchief is out of line and betrays the Horde then there's no issue with the Horde stepping up and acting against them, and eventually putting them down.
Just dreaming on that one tbh
He is called a Forsaken.
Baine's move was definitly favorable to the end of Sylvanas's reign
Zeilling was horde
He joined the horde
He HELPED the horde
Zelling betrayed the Horde. They GAVE her the right to kill him.
I don't agree with it
But it was within her right, and she used it reasonably. If she let this stuff go unpunished.
More will occur
Oh but
More will occur
Punishing it won't change a thing
It even made the leaders question Sylvanas
You don't let a traitor conspiring with the enemy just go unpunished though.\
Look, mindcontrolling people is not right and that's something that even the Forsaken are against. Sylvanas went full Lich King and Baine stood up to her. Yes, he thus technically betrayed her. But he didn't betray the Horde, the entire goal is to save the Horde from a genocidal LK Warchief.
Sylvanas definitly went full LK
Okay, but how does aiding the Kul Tirans directly help the Horde?
He exposes sylvanas, causes unrest
how does that help with the kul tiran fleet about to destroy them?
Exposing Sylvanas will lead to her end
and they JUST killed their allies.
Beside
And the Horde
I think
If you forgot
We might expect Thrall soon
okay, cool, still got a kul tiran fleet trying to destroy them
Rokhan specifically realizes this.
that he just aided
The Horde is losing at that moment
Splitting will kill them
And what?
He stopped being powerful in Legion
Did you forget?
Why bring an orc whose powers faded away?
I mean he can come back
y tho
Magni left us in Cataclysm
y does he need to come back?
To come back in Legion
it adds nothing
its boring
How would it add nothing ?
Thinking that the Horde stands a chance when they are split
because its the exact same as warlords
The theme of the Horde in BfA is Unity
thrall comes back to remove a bad warchief
The horde is always split
if they split they are dead
Since MoP
The only ones supporting Baine is Garona and probably Mayla at this point
We currently are slipted
Rokhan realizes the split will kill them
Lor'themar will join the winning side when it becomes more evident
Thalyssra will follow him
Rexxar's text says absolutely nothing about joining Baine, lol
Thalyssra too
lorthemar and thalyssra have nothing about supporting baine
lorthemar offers a hypothetical, thalyssra is conflicted and is going to talk to lorthemar
inb4 saurfang returns from outland with ogres and outland maghar to fight sylvanas
Literally only Mayla and Garona are probably supporting him. Mayla is a probably, Garona sure.
The entire theme of the narrative is the dichotomy between the Horde's honor and those who seek to forsake it. Baine represents the honorable aspect of the Horde while Sylvanas represents.. yet another nuts leader. Horde was saving the Horde's honor and saving the Horde from Sylvanas. I do think some of it was stupid. But claiming he betrayed the Horde is a bit far fetched specially when absolutely none of the other Horde leaders even remotely think that.
About the leaders, some haven't made a definitive decision yet but they're clearly worried about Sylvanas and what she represents. Rokhan is worried about an infighting in the Horde caused by Sylvanas, Lor'themar similarly is also worried because of Sylvanas and what she did at Teldrassil, so on.
geyarah literally thinks that
As i said
talanji wants him to have fair trial for his actions
There are MANY different views of Honor in the Horde
I think Talanji is the only fair character with Lorthemar
cool, he wants to preserve the hordes honor, thats very noble
Honor doesn't win a war you know
still doesnt address him actively helping the kul tiran fleet derek would have wounded
she very explicitly didnt
Must we forsake everything for a simple victory
And he fucked his own plan
You arne't understanding
Dude....
Well she burned Teldrassil
Do you read? I am seriously curious.
The war was started whether Teldrassil burned or not
teldrassil didnt start the war, saurfang himself says this
the invasion of ashenvale was the kickstarter
burning or not, there would have been war after that moment
it has swingy bone bits
As i said everyone has his own opinion
I have mine on Sylvanas
You have yours
Same as politics
also, moonkin dance works
those are things that are really hard to change
We are not debating opinions. We are debating facts about the story.
Teldrassil didn't start the war
Teldrassil was the first spark to lit the fire
Nope
The invasion was just a pile of Powder
I'll find the quote from saurfang
Troll feet
"He wanted to kill her. He wanted to declare mak’gora and spill her blood in front of Horde and Alliance alike.
But she was right.
A wound that can never heal. That had always been the plan. And Saurfang had failed to inflict it.
The story of Malfurion’s miraculous survival would have spread among the armies of the Alliance as proof that they were blessed in their cause.
War would still have come. That had been certain the moment Saurfang had led the Horde into Ashenvale. And it would have been what he had feared most: the meat grinder, spending so many lives
to achieve so little, ending with a whimper, and thus dooming future generations to a war nobody could win. Once again, Sylvanas had seen it before he had."
...
You were so keen that you read
Won't change my opinion of sylvanas but will change my point of view on the war itself
I mean
I don't reject other opinions
Or facts
As long as you show em to me i'd gladly say that i'm wrong
And i was
For now i only read Before the storm and another one about the horde i don't have the name in English tho
A Good War tells you about the endless cycle of hate
I love "A Good War"
The author did great representing the Horde
But I hope they datamine some broadcast text...I wanna see what Ji says
I swear to god if they have him just meditate after e.e
He is not Aysa
thats not manduin
If I do does it mean I can call off work tomorrow?
But honestly, I would like...Alleria, Moira, uhhhhhh. Baine, or even a secondary wow character
Aponi, Liadrin, Umbric
Well, it is there largest database to pull from.
no
No? e.e
i don't kno
Also, I would like to see a female tauren outside the game.
A cinematic, or HOTS
See how they look
Like the males look a lot more intimidating out of game
I see how a Good war works in the storyline
Just read the first chapter got into it, i finally understand stuff feelsgoodman
A Good War/Elegy rewrite the events of Darkshore
supposedly
I still don't think it was ever clarified if they rewrite the pre-patch events
they were written a long while before the in game events
quest writers are known for inaccuracies
only valid one one that list is vashj
we dont need another paladin, velen is old and boring, moira's gonna be a skin for the OW moira
I would like a Draenei though
We are talking about HOTS characters
ah
-that art looks nothing like in-game e.e-
Anduin is needed.
Why?
We have a draenei Kham
The Horde has all of their WoW warchiefs besides Voljin.
we have Yrel
Oh pft
they took off all the paladin aspects of that art
The Alliance only has Varian.
Your right
so they seem to be specifically avoiding that
damn
the only real paladin aspect is the chained book
that taelia
which honestly
that concept art was a pitch they accepted, not a commissioned piece
And the giant maul?
Is a giant maul
The maul and libram are paladin aspects.
Do you see any paladin runes on it?
Are all ogres secretly paladins and we just never realized it?
I don't think we -need- Anduin though. But I suppose most of the alliance leaders are too similar to already created HOTS people
and like I said, her having the giant chained book actually makes sense. She works in a dock that can get hit by Pirates at a moments notice.
Let's just forget Bolvar was a paladin, Mara Fordragon was the High Clerist of Stormwind.
Bolvar wasnt a paladin actually
Like it or not, Light users run in the family.
He was a normal knight
<_>
Lets also remember the Light isn't really...prominent in Kul'tiras
If she was a paladin, I feel we would know by now
the light isnt a genetic thing lmao
also
she grew up in a culture with no light influence
Where does it actually state he's a paladin?
she's more likely to become a tideguard than a paladin
but shes probably just going to become a normal knight
Doesn't Taelia herself say her father was simply a Knight?
@hollow dock Does it kill you to click on citations?
and from a personal meta standpoint, we just got over the stupid paladin > priest stuff
we dont need to move on to paladin > warrior
WoW has an abundance of paladins, a regular knight is refreshing
"Could it be, Lord Fordring? If Bolvar lives, mayhap there is hope fer peace between the Alliance and the Horde. We must reach the top o' this cursed place and free the paladin!"
It's kinda odd that they call him a paladin
but not once
in any point of his life
is he associated with paladins
or even uses the light
As recently as BfA I am pretty sure he is referred to as a Knight
does anyone else find that weird?
Ya.
he was the alliance's cleave master in vanilla, too
cuz I can see him being called a Paladin in the more traditional sense
dont des
Don't try to stretch this to the farthest extent just to try and be right.
there's no proof other than that one line that states he's a paladin
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
I'm not stretching it at all <_<
I just posted two links.
One line
that states he's a paladin
but there's no actual proof
that he's apaladin
In all the stuff he's been given and that he's been around since vanilla
notoncehas he actually been a paladin
Is that not at all weird to you
I think that one sentence could be a screw up
@jade basalt Think you can explain this?
“After suffering betrayal at the doorstep of his nemesis, a brave paladin was reborn in the searing heat of enchanted dragon flames. No longer fit to dwell among the living, alone he shall endure as the steward of a misbegotten throng.”
Alexstrasza: [Draconic] They must not discover the fate of the young paladin. Not yet.
Just keep ignoringwhat I'm saying
When Bolvar was stationed in Stormwind City, he used a combination of warrior and paladin abilities: [Cleave], [Shield Wall], [Lay on Hands], [Retribution Aura], and Highlord's Justice (an AoE version of [Hammer of Justice]).
Not saying youre wrong just asking if you at all
found it weird
Fuck, dude.
Literally never stated you were wrong LOL
Honk, Des isnt denying that hes a paladin
You said he never used paladin abilities.
I didn't
If you READ the article.
theyre wondering why when it never actually comes up in lore aside from being called a paladin
I stated there was never a point in allhis lore where he was actually a paladin
hes never been involved in paladin stuff, hes just called one
"
DesToday at 11:21 PM
It's kinda odd that they call him a paladin
but not once
in any point of his life
is he associated with paladins
or even uses the light"
He LITERALLY USES spells in the game, pre-wrath, dude.
He never fights the horde in stormwind in his life so he never uses those in game mechanics m8.
wat
Again, look over his lore
When Bolvar was stationed in Stormwind City, he used a combination of warrior and paladin abilities: [Cleave], [Shield Wall], [Lay on Hands], [Retribution Aura], and Highlord's Justice (an AoE version of [Hammer of Justice]).
Which is the one point I am bringing up
I don't think Honk actually understands a word I'm saying
Paladin is mentioned eight times on his page.
He just thinks I'm saying he's wrong
...
"It's not in his lore reeee!"
In game mechanics =/ Lore
That's not even how I have been acting
=/=
I legitimately asked
non-chilant
that it was weird that he's a paladin even though none of his story actually brings it up
^
he isnt saying that he isnt a paladin
he is saying that he never uses any paladin powers
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
AEUUGHG
"He never uses paladin powers."
I said before
A single time
In game mechanics aren't lore
Not once have I said he's not a paladin
same
Just that it was weird that he's built as a paladin in the game dialogue
But never actually shown to be a paladin
fuck this is the most pedantic and stupid conversation ever
You're the one trying to shove down our throats that you're right
and you are
but we just thought it was weird
and you continued to shove down our throats that you're right
??????????????
How has he not been shown to be a paladin?
Does it need to happen in a book?
he's called it in name and mechanics, but hasnt been involved in anything light or paladin related
He must be a druid, for all its worth.
Thank you port
we've never seen any connection with him to the church or the silver hand beyond tirion calling him brother
Nice attempt to Strawman Honk :v
We don't debate fucking Hoggers class.
Abilities
that's well established
We are asking
"Doesnt mean he has them in lore."
IS IT NOT WEIRD THAT THIS HAPPENED IN THIS SPECIFIC WAY
like - wrathgate
If there is a book, or piece of the lore
I think he very well does when everyone in the lore calls him a fucking paladin.
where he actually acts like one
the fuck does bolvar do?
Heck
storm in with a sword
Act like Idk
he doesnt use the light
A KNIGHT
he is just a soldier
if he was a paladin we would have seen light stuff
thank you peach
Ok, does Uther just use Light? No, he smacked things with a hammer, and used the Light sometimes when needed.
Literally everyone is understanding where I am coming from
and yes
Uther DID use light
you bafoon
Uther spammed light
like
gosh
he casts it in cutscenes
See?
You clearly didn't read Arthas' lore book then
Cuz
He used the light to actually nearly kill Arthas
^
You are trying to use our own words but it's not working for you dude
Were it not for Arthas' dirty little stab, Uther and his overbearing light that was snuffing out Arthas' darkness would have ended the damned prince right there
Oh and let's not forget all of Uther's stuff when he first became a paladin in the second war.
Which is also well documented
Again
Paladin stuff being documented for paladins
that's pretty common
but for a paladin to be called one but never actually shown to be one
that's odd
In short
Bolvar got called paladin but we never saw things that related him to one in important moments of the game
Oh yeah.
Knight is never mentioned once on his page, save for when talking about death knights.
So idk where this "he was a knight" thing is coming from.
He's still just being an ass about not being wrong.
In which the "He was a knight" came from the fact that well. He was Regent Lord of Stormwind, a General of the Alliance, and various other things that are also associated with normal warriors/knights of the alliance
Oh wait, because he was probably a KNIGHT OF THE SILVER HAND, considering Bolvar calls him an "old friend" and "brother".
But he was never actually apart of the Silver Hand
Was he?
Not to mention both Tirion and Bolvar are veterans of ya know. The second war?
Because there's no lore pre-regency save for the Taelia bit.
Lordaeron all that old goodness.
the artists who pitched taelias model put out the concept art, had a few paladin esque things that got cut from the actual model
Oh
Isn’t taelia just a female human model with existing customizations???
(Taelia as in Bolvar’s daughter, right?)
Oh, just the armor
what build is it right now?
Regarding Baines arrest and Rexxars reaction to it, I think it's highly possible we could see Thrall returning, if he believes Thrall is one of the people who should know about it
though he could just tell Saurfang
As much of a proper story it sounds, its really just up to metzen if they are going to toss thrall back into the story.
wow the zombitch arrested Baine? who would have seen that coming
Yeah, though I believe Metzen is up for returning after that Blizzcon Q&A?
why did Metzen leave anyway?
It was because he tried to free the dead proudmore or something?
Anxiety attacks and personal health
what assassination plans???
he let Derek go didn't he..?
Derek was going to be a sleeper agent for the horde
Metzen left because he felt guilty for Garrosh
I know about derek
And murder jaina and katherine
but he let him go didn't he?
That was the whole point of then raising hi.
So baune released him before that couls happe
Happen*
But yea. Betraying your warchief is kinda a crime punishable by death
alliance Tauren allied race for 8.3
No...
its just a mocking joke chill
I remember when ppl were joking about Mag'har being an alliance allied race...was horrified
But Sylvanas only killed Zeilling. As shes certain he was the weak one and actually let him escape. She is seeming to want to let baine stand trial and defend his actions.
Traitor
It is
using a toy or something
Yeah it’s my gnome, orb of deception makes them Tauren
XD
I dressed him up after Teldrassil
I can't get the flipping items for the rest of the guard set
Grind orcs in draenor
and honestly I'd rather not return to my garrison OR draenor
I wish draenor did not exist
I just spam reset iron docks
Outland is good
First boss has a high chance of dropping the items
Draenor is outland ya dingus
Iron Docks...ptsd dungeon finder memories return
I literally only did iron docks from lvl 90-98
I mean AU draenor
I still fail to see the issues with AU Draenor tbh. It was an empty as fuck expansion but what content was there. It was pretty decent.
Ruined Grom
How? Grom in our universe very much regrets everything he did
He became jesus
Wha?....
Died, removed corruption and bloodlust
MU grom
Thats actually literslly what happened in the NORMAL timeline
AU Grom fought against going corrupted in the first place
I'm saying I like MU Grom because he died and became an orc hero
Also the bloodlust of orcs is innate
Not skmething brought on by the corruption. MU grom didnt stop that.
AU Grom went on a killing spree without demon blood for some reason
Thats kiterally
Grommash was fine until Draenor Is Free, but they fixed that with the maghar recruitment story, for the most part
Did you not watch his warbringers episode
Where he literally went on a warpath againdt the ogres because he could?
Lords of War?
Yea lords of war
That was about MU Grom?
No?
MU Maraad told it
Well technically it was for both AU and MU
The onky difference being Groms wife died
Before giving birth to Garrosh
The lords of war stories was about both MU and AU versions of characters?
Yes
Maraads was just building backstory for Maraad, however I do theorize that it could work for MU Maraad assuming that one change happens between the AU and MU story as it does with literally everyone els
Else*
Which is Maraad dies to that orc he saw
AU Maraad* that is.
Does anyone in AU Draenor recognise him?
Could it be that he never existed in AU
Its a possibility but I do not think that its likely. Personally.
Does AU has an argus that also became part of the legion?
No. Thats where the timeline and how timelines work become very messy
Because there's only 1 legion
And theres only 1 twisting nether
So whatever enters the nether, theoretically, wipes out any other copies of themselves across all other timelines.
Hence why theres not a corrupted velen in any timeline.
Did outland become part of the twisting nether?
No. It sits at the edge of the nether
Not crossed over
Due to its fuckery with portals
Bronze Dragonflight stories give me a headache
Just. Ignore legion stuff.
Enjoy AU Draenor as a big 'what if' story as thats what it is
I just forget Outland and Draenor existed. Makes life a lot kinder on the brain.
Outland does exist in the world, idk what happened to it after tbc
Lords of War and WoD serve to give us backstory not only to what the main universe counterparts are but set them up for us to fight as bosses
And yet no Grom fight 😦
Ever since Garrosh hyjacked the dark portal and the legions been defeated for good, outlands been a pretty peaceful place.
Grom saw the bigger picture. He was originally intended to be a boss
Supposedly
But cut content and unfinished works
With new Gorehowl model to drop
@hollow dock Yeah there's many references to Bolvar as a paladin, I too found it odd back then but he did use a couple Light abilities if my memory is correct. But yeah he's a paladin.
As for Taelia, pretty sure that she isn't a paladin now, because Kul Tiras is visibly not very Light-using, but she very well could become one later. Possibly thanks to Anduin's influence. The person who concepted Taelia gave me a nod when I asked about that.
Yea I get that he is. Just thought it was weird that, outside of his vanilla NPC, we didn't actually see him being a paladin.
2 paladins became the lich king
YEa we did Kham. Kinda empty wise words that makes him the more neutral party that admits that Baine's actions were needed. Otherwise he might do something that actually impedes the horde rather than just betray his warchief. Least as I'm reading them anyways.
Basically yeah
He is comparing it to their dealing with the sha, about how they preferred ignoring the threat and suppressing their emotions and how that led to even worse consequences much later, instead of acting much sooner, like Baine did, and all should take a lesson from it.
I wonder what's in store for Saurfang now
All these Horde leaders being wary (or more than wary for some) of Sylvanas now is just what Saurfang needed for his rebellion
I can't see this going any differently than MoP's 5.3. All the Horde leaders join the rebellion against Sylvanas. Sylvanas even has a Nazgrim, Geyara.
But they said there won't be a Siege of Orgrimmar 2.0...
At the last moment, Sylvanas uses Xal'atath to become the Avatar of N'Zoth or something. BUT she uses her new powers to defeat the Old God, hurray! And then she vanishes like Kerrigan forever.
I thought Nathanos is like Sylvanas' Nazgrim
No
It’s heavily implied that Nathanos and sylvanas were in a relationship before becoming undead
So he is like her second in command, but also her lover
I don't think undead care about things like the living do
There were some quests about undead not caring and feeling nothing in the starter zone
There are strong parallels between Geyarah and Nazgrim in that they are both orc generals with an unwavering belief in loyalty above all else. Nazgrim because he was Kor'kron and it was his job, notably, in his heart he was sad and disappointed, but he had to fulfill his duty.
Nathanos is more like Sylvanas' groupie, but even he had doubts towards her, both in the short story, and at Teldrassil, etc. Not saying he can't be compared to Nazgrim but the comparison seems more apt with Geyarah.
Nathanos and Sylvanas did have a relationship early in life, and while they may still have feelings (possibly) it's unsure whether that relationship has resumed.
Maybe Elves are different shrug
Undead when first created are very disoriented
They won't just kill off someone they just introduced
They often only experience strong emotions of hate at first
But that’s not permanent
Although it can leave a lasting impression
Can undead die?
Yes
Is it more difficult to kill them or do they die like everyone else
Sylvanas died twice while she was undead
It certainly can be more difficult to harm or kill them, but no one's immune to a severed head
Sylvanas is special
She has valkyr
Who bring her back to life again and take her place in hell
And or the afterlife
She only has 2 more I think
She lost one to tyrande in darkshore
Regular undead don't really have vital organs like hearts so I doubt a stab to the chest will kill them
You can kill undead like you can kill anything else
How many did she start with?
Including the one that brought her back after she jumped from icecrown?
Yes
when a freaking guy that committed suicide because he didn't want to server a worsen king backstabbed her and killed her I freaking laughed so hard
I think so
9 is correct
worgen king*
Them glitchy silverpine quests
Glitchy?
I’ve never had problems
The pacing is a bit weird
But that’s because it’s old
Cata was 10 years ago
First 3 alts that went there were fine, fourth alt I found a bug
Did you report the bug?
I checked the forums its been there for years
alani is still broken as well
Alani?
The escort thing to the gilneas gate has a bug to where you fail if you're not direcly next to sylvanas
thundering ruby cloud serpent in vale of eternal blossoms
That’s most old escort quests
You have to stay right with the npc
Or it fails
At least it isn’t the stupid fungarian giant escort quest in zangarmarah
I mean If you fall 1 step behind it fails
That’s 1000x worse
its broken
What do you mean it’s broken
It worked fine most of the other times I did it only with my warrior
no buff to dispel, can't attack AT ALL
Kill mobs in the area
can't use the skycrystal without the buff, thats what I mean by dispelling it
I've had the crystal in my inventory for months
I guess it’s low priority ¯_(ツ)_/¯
since you can now auction it
Can you get more than 1?
Shouldn’t this be in regular wow chat?
@inner copper Make a ticket to a GM so that you can get them to see why the crystal is disabled for you
its a widely known problem, only way to fix it is to find alani on a diff server thats not bugged or wait out till server reset
HHaha
the guards have hit the gym and are now more stronk. From blizz latest hotfix

lol
@uncut vault What happened in Stormwind during the Leatherworking questline on PTR exactly ? Night elf sounds pissed
a few months ago her home burned down.
