That's in fact one reason more disputes would not be an asspull because they have already created one in 8.1. And there's, in addition, propaganda in 8.1.5 that criticize multiple leaders of the Alliance (Anduin, Genn, Calia), making tensions rise even more among the Alliance, so more in-Alliance disputes would not be an asspull since we're already essentially there. And that's, for the third time, different from a "total rebel war" which they already said was not going to happen, so stop worrying about and criticizing this hypothetical scenario that was already officially debunked.

I don't think they are, it's just that they can't make every character relevant at all times. So we got a bit of Saurfang getting mad, then a bit of Baine getting mad, now a bit of Lor'themar being mad, etc., just not all at the same time (unfortunately). Just because they didn't get to express themselves earlier doesn't mean they were happy with what happened back then.
Also dangit, the Magni questline ending on a cliffhanger. I want to see MOTHER's solution to saving Azeroth now ! 😛

Interesting, they weren't sure they would be able to pull off the KT Humans as a playable race, which is why they weren't announced at Blizzcon originally. They were very costly and time consuming in terms of art resources, as they don't merely reuse an existing skeleton proper, like say void elves. Meanwhile, confirmation that Zandalari were meant to be released with the Dark Irons. Moreover, story reasons, it made more sense to release them after we got to know them and bond with them properly, and not before. Finally, mag'har were meant for .5, but they released them earlier instead, they essentially swapped them with Zandalari.

The problem is a lot of the Alliance possible allied races are ones like High Elves and Wildhammer which Blizzard seens to be tentative about adding, but also ones like Broken and Jinyu etc. But yeah I do agree the Alliance list is probably much shorter of ideas hence why they invented more

It's even worse because since the model revamp, all orcs suffer from Garrosh-face syndrom.
Literally none of the faces actually match orcs in artwork, cinematic, or concept, or anything. It looks like they took Garrosh's face from MoP and just declined it a number of ways.

They don't have to have the same scaling, but this is from a "what-if" scenario anyway, it's not going to happen, ever. They can't overhaul orcs like that, or give a mok'nathal skeleton to orcs because they'd look too alike then.
I'm still certain that Broken were one of the allied races planned, but they were swapped with Void elves.

Argus broken however are just a modified draenei model. It's evident they were about to become playable, but they were replaced with Void elves later into development. Or perhaps they were just "swapped" (like mag'har and Zandalari) and we'll see them later.
But I kind of doubt it.

So I noticed that both factions will now have a race whose leader is going to be temporarily MIA with 8.1/8.1.5, gnomes and tauren. (Mekkatorque gets frozen, Baine gets captured.)
And what's even more interesting is that, the next 2 races to get heritage armor questlines, are gnomes and tauren.

I went to check what they said about these questlines back at Blizzcon.
Tauren :
"You're going to go on a spiritual journey with spiritwalkers to find out why things are restless in Thunder Bluff".
So this very well could tie into, say, Baine's absence and things going wrong among the tauren.

"As for the Alliance, we couldn't be going to Mechagon without taking one last check-in with our diminutive friends, the gnomes. You're going to blast the heck out of a whole lot of troggs, with a spaceship."
This.. I'm less sure about how it fits into the grand scheme of things.. or what that "spaceship" is.. or maybe they changed their mind since then.. But it just kind of sounds like some silly, unimportant meme-fest, as usual when gnomes are involved unfortunately.

We tried to reclaim (or fight) Gnomeregan so many times already, it'd be boring honestly. But given how the sentence starts, I wonder if it might actually involve Mechagon, or if it was just a segue, which sounds likely.. But hell, in any case it sounds like the gnome questline is going to be just some silly "comical" useless quest.
I'd be fine with saving Mekkatorque, or something related to Mekkatorque or to Mechagon.
