Oh hey, it's the wireframe thing I made. :) But yes, Tortollan are further removed from a playable state than any other potential allied race atm. Even Quillboar are better off.
Sethrak have a good chance because they're already pretty much shaped like a player model, in a way that's outside the scope of how they do other bipedal NPCs, like Tortollan and Arrakoa and even Hozen/Jinyu.
Sethrak for example can be broken down to a non-armored form. Tortollan are patchwork creatures with arms, body, and shell as different pieces.

They call it "the old ways". Then Gorak Tul (apparently took power I imagine) turned from the old ways and started practicing twisted magic and he started a war on the humans who had just arrived. Some drust were not okay with that, they were called the Thornspeakers, they were kind of druids (that's where the Tirasian druid forms come from). The Thornspeakers left the other drust and joined Tirasian society, and taught the humans the old ways.
