Vol’jin*
to be honest I've always been sus of the loas telling vol'jin to go Sylv
Vol'jin knows the difference between Loa and other things though
I will only accept Bwonsamdi doing.
voljin was dying
messages from gods is all well and good but they can be misinterpreted
because Bwonsamdi woulda just been a dick and told him to do that
coughyrel
Vol jin praised the Loa his whole life, worked closely with one, he knows
Yol'jin becomes a loa, also
Wait he becomes a loa?
YOL'JIN
Ugh
But he stopped listening to the loa, voljin did not
THE YREL X VOL'JIN MIX
Yol'jin...
They told em to go slaughter the draenei that they'd wipe out the orcs
Which was Kil'jaedens doing
If Vol'jin comes back into the game as a loa that only makes my previous point about deaths even more funny
Vol'jin. And yes, the questline in beta has him become somewhat of a Loa afaik
Alright so
you take his ashes around the world right
but guess what
Zalazane is back
on the echo isle
so you go to fight him
he gets his hands on the ashes and tries to obliterate Vol'jin
Tbh I think a nice touch in BfA would be a white wolf that seems a little too intelligent
Vol'jin punts him back and he states "The only way he could do this is if he became a...."
If Vol'jin gets a implied return I want Varian to have one
it's left ambiguous
Again, left ambiguous
darn
Nah I reckon Varian could have like, an implied reincarnation or something idk
something nice to think about
so
are the forsaken gonna get driven out of eastern kingdoms
cus... they should
As far as we know, not totally
They still control parts of Silverpine and Hillsbrad. (and the status of andorhal is not known)
The Forsaken control Alterac, Tarren Mill, and Durnholde. They have guerilla warfare going on in Silverpine.
The Alliance control Southshore, Gilneas, Silverpine, Tirisfal, and the Plaguelands.
Will this be reflected in game or just through the mission table?
Probably not
Where is anything stated about the plaguelands though?
I haven't seen anything till now
the BFA mission table
Mhm, didn't think there was anything about the plaguelands in the mission table. Will look it up again, though
You'd hope the old zones would get updated even a little bit to reflect the faction conflict
the plague lands shouldn't be the plaguelands then
as they're mostly cleaned up by now
mhm, didn't find anything relating to them in the table
Ah, there.
Probably from andorhal then?
Ah, that's useful
why the fuck did they make the new warlock spell animations look so good, it's making me want to play one now REEEEEEEEE

Those bastards
Call dogs of demo lock would use some fix
Dogs should show up from portals not over them
Oooh beta update
exe build
nothing big
also i just got typhus from a scorpion
it lasts 5 min and decreases all stats by 10%
dont think so
but it wears off by the end of the quest
its not that bad
its a disease so if you cure disease then it doesnt matter
oh ok. that's good.
had a look at marlamin's diffs site. There about 19 new UI elements added with build 26637 but I dunno how to extract exactly which elements have changed
I noticed that with the new PTR build some of the icons are listed for an armor set related to Kul Tiras.
EX:
inv_chest_cloth_kultirasquest_b_01
Could this be part of a transition event for the next expansion? Will we finally see what Jain...
So Calia had a secret husband and a secret child... I wonder which new character that could be. 🤔
Inb4 people claim taelia, despite her having dark hair and skin and needing a mother who looks like that
Another channel linked a reddit posting suggesting Bolvar
But
Admittedly Taelia doesn't not look like Bolvar/Calia, given that thought
I'd lose a bit more faith in blizz having a semblance of logic if they went with that
Assuming Blizz is putting the slightest amount of thought into inherited appearances, anyhow
Cause in no world does two pale people with blonde and light orange hair make a darker skinned, black haired baby
Genn discovers that Taelia isn't actually the rightful heir of Lordaeron
Inb4 genn is the secret husband
Tess is the secret kid
Queen of gilneas and lordaeron
Of course
Taelina is like
the only dark skinned human character that's plot relevant
idk if Blizz cares that much.
Now she just needs to become a mage and marry anduin, become queen of dalaran and stormwind. Four kingdom queen
(in before Bolvar isn't actually her father but he adopted her to save her from something)
(only to dump her onto a new adoptive father)
Taelia really isnt that dark skinned tho
Who knows
She uses the second darkest human skin tone
I think yall are focusing on her being tanned too much.
It's not dark, but compared to Bolvar and taelia, she is
Consider me surprised if they randomly introduce a black character as a major character in WoW.
Otherwise, I fully expect her to be Calia's daughter.
It's just an amusing thought
Yeah, calia and bolvar both have the second lightest human skin tone (though the first five are basically the same) and taelia has the second darkest
think you're looking too deep into it
Granted, wow humans have like half of the real life skin spectrum
since we know she ain't gettin that from calia
Black humans come from Stranglethorn/South Seas.
I just wanted to make a Ned Stark joke about Calia being fair of hair and skin but Taelia being dark of hair and skin 😛
Black humans come from everywhere in wow
Taelia frames Genn for treason
They're just never relevant or shown
No, in BfA, basically half of kul Tiras is black
honk its not a retcon its suplimentary information
A group of mostly black humans =\= they all come from there
Kul Tiras is also a seafaring nation.
it gives an origin point but it doesnt mean its the ONLY place they come from
kul tiras comes from gilneans
and gilneans also can have dark skin
It's likely they picked up humans from the south seas over time.
so its not like the tone is non-existant in northern lordaeron
and even FURTHER
vrykul
have
dark
skin
Anyways, by your logic Porter
Black humans can appear anywhere out of thin air essentially.
Soooo
Blizz is definitely not thinking about genetics and cultural mixing when they gave Kul'tirans darker skin tones
Taelia being dark skinned seems fine by me.
Oh, I agree. I hope and expect taelias mother to be a dark skinned lordaeronian
It's perfectly fine
She won't.
Hence the discussion about why calia won't be her mom
She'll be Calia's.
It's just an amusing notion with the theory that Taelia's mother is some important lore character
Because there's no lore humans with remotely dark skin
There's also no lore humans that are relevant and women
They all die one way or another
I mean, I'm one of the people who've been asking Blizzard for some black representation.
It's awkward as fuck playing a black character with a white face.
What, you don't like the same 12 noses on all the faces?
lol
Stranglethorn Human Allied Race when
cue the endless whining for one reason or another
"lol sjws"
Yesterday someone said that WoD was ruined because Ion hired less skilled diversity hires
🤔
yikes
Booty Bay used to be a human city.
Tfw ion wasn't running the show till mid legion
They made a deal with Steamwheedle while they were being attacked by trolls.
Tho more lore on an entirely separate human culture would be kind of nice
In game instead of in one YA spinoff novel
are beta realms down atm? Also, is there somewhere online I can see their status?
thanks
it's just fixes right?
Yeah, or picking up some back-end changes.
i chhanged factions from ally to horde im 120. does anyone have problem getting quest for amulet. or need t do something
did silithus qquest and other what needed
What’s this I hear about zandalari being paladins
Zandalari Prelates.
I swear
It better
I would like to play something other than a walking beef pile, or dead racial elf 😂
it will happen
horde don't have a allied paladin yet, they are the only one left lol
it might
or not
hopefully it will
def depends on 8.1 though
maybe we rez rezan
It has to at this point, alliance was missing druids, and they got that now
the only question
is how will they right it in since we know part of the story
either rez a loa
or make some reason why they can use the loa light powers
I can't wait to make a nice Maghar hunter myself, I can't wait to see the scenario since we got the title for it
I think I’ll go maghar monk
would be interesting
shame they have such nice shaman totems
so tempting to make a few of them
I am glad they can be monk though
means they either have some outland ones mixed in after they get to the main timeline, or they learned it in WoD
which means they were taught to be monks in WoD
and remembered and practiced for 30 years
that works too.
no
but that's boring
and leave draenor
tje scenario ends with them leaving draenor forever
Yea that is true on the LFD
so draenor is compeltly taken by the light?
and nightborne learned monk stuff relatively fast
If it was that easy LFD would be monks lol
We dont know Fel
lol... Outland taking by the demons and void, draenor taken by the light and draenei.
well Nightborne were a full year basically of being with us
they are fully dedicated to the light
by being dedicated to the light, you cant find balance
Like the worgen.
They're in capable of it due to their beast side
being a monk involves being at balance
Goblins are just to greedy.
and the Kul tirans not having monks?
idk why goblins and worgen couldnt become monks but tauren and draenei could and they have hooves.
We dont know their classes
they weren't mined as monks I thought
We just said why they couldn't Fel
Worgen are incapable of findnig balance
Due to their beastial wrath within them.
it just seems weird that its worgen and goblin, not like goblin and gnomes
the two cata races.
goblins are greedy people
grredy people have no internal balance
neither do worgen
... gnomes are normal people? very debatable, nothing is that short and "normal"
worgen cant keep themselves under control
void elves are special because they could learn to be monks prior to becoming void elves
I'll still think my way, but your way does make sense in this case for sure, and you raise a strong argument
a forsaken finding balance is funny to me though lol
forsaken can find balance eventually
exactly
You need healing Vris?
thats essentially what lillian voss has done on a personal level
accepting yourself because you cant change what you have become
thats internal balance
its a step toward inner peace
monks
true, and since they have not talked about the declining condition of forsaken lately I guess many of them could come to terms
well the monks could
I suppose your theory also makes sense
i play a monk
maybe it is both who knows
beautiful map
Regardless of light or dark, when you fully dedicate to one that isn't balance. As peach said.
especially about monks
its kind of the entire point of the sha
falling to the light or the dark is loss of balance
Exception being void elves. Since they need to balance and have it grandfathered from blood elves
and thats where emotion happens
that monk goblin confuses me a lot more now then
i mean
exception to the rule
not every goblin loves money
just most of them
almost all
lol
I wonder if we will get any new class combos for the base races somewhere this xpac
like how theres 1 goblin for the alliance
Ya, there is one goblin in the monk order hall
they said they dont plan to add any new race/class combos at the moment in the last QA
darn, maybe next xpac
They are adding a lot more races to be fair
Race/class combo isnt the same as a new race. o=
The Vulpera are at this point in the same boat as High Elves; wanted, but most likely not going to be given.
This is dangerously to close to foxgirls. We don't need more furries
Selatharia, I completely disagree.
Vulpera honestly are one of the most likely races in-game atm
I will unsub in seconds
since no headgear yet
If I see fox girls
if you're alliance, you get to murder fox girls
Ok, yes. Let us draw the line at small, savage fox people.
if we start to see headgear on the snakes, then they MAY have a chance
Welp looks like I can't play horde anymore
only a chance though
No, you just need to take a chill pill
Really you drew the line at fox girls? have you seen the female worgen?
Furries as in those who are attracted to animal peeps?
Something like thst
and the giant female cow people?
Cow people I don't consider as furries
Furries are people who want to be anthros
They are beef
....what does having vulpera playable have to do with furries
fur
They don't have fur
Tauren have fur-like hair
@hollow dock you want sneks but not vulpera?
odd.
So you are against animal-like races?
The whole point
no
vris is a half-weeb
FURries
yes
WE have
How about you go back to furry land
we're in furry land
Taunka
thats what wow is
Furbolg
Oh lord Port, you are right.
Get over it, and just play the game. Vulpera fit in perfectly fine. They are not anime girls
Yes it does Dafire
Furry does not pertain to only fur thigns
That's exactly what it means
I'm just here to trigger you now. This is making me giggle more then it should.
see the thing is until we get headgear updated for snakes, and i mean more then the posted pictures of non blizz employees doing I would not get your hopes up for the snakes
(don't get me wrong i would love the snakes)
....
<@&299347348847329281>
boooo
foxes make sense tho. sneks, as much as i love them, don't make sense. especially in alliance
Ya'll take things to serious.
I mean, in terms of setting up recruitment
👀
sethrak have the most blunt suggestion ever
"these sethrak will make valuable allies in the future" and the like
No playable Dryads
I think we all need to realise that High Elves are the greatest race in the history of the game
Once more, taking things wayyy to serious. I hardly care for what races get out in I just like poking fun at the fox people
Vulpera I highly suspect to be playable. Sethrak I am skeptical on, but either way, they will continue to appear.
but some Sethrak also work with the horde correct? that is also a problem to think about
No playable cat-people
Wooa o.O
khajit ftw
I love Khajiit
I want, the tuskers
Void GNOEMS
nightborne also work with the alliance
lol I was just thinking of Khajit wwhen you said cat people
same with lightforged, and highmountain
yw
Can we all be lightforged
but all of them showed a clear tendency towards a faction
true, and they did all have rep we could get as horde guys
same applies to sethrak
Every race t least
lightforged undead?
Highmountain and LFD made sense for joining their race, nightborne was the odd one
Nightborne worked
and them not being playable is fucking stupid
would be nice if every race could play every class
orc druids
That's a balance nightmare and a half, sadly.
Tauren and Drenai are made sense for the fact they believe they are stronger with their 'family'
My favorite is murloc paladin
where as nightborne they explained after
#nothingissacred
Goblin paladins
#Nothingissacred
PANADA DRUIDS
panada?
THEIR BEAR FORM IS JUST THEIR BEST
whatsdis
Canada but for pandas
so based on the argument of the nightborne, I potentially could see it happening, but considering they don't have any fitted headgear yet, and their tabards are very funky, i would say hold off hope for now, they are getting updated atm though, so who knows
I mean I dont think anyone expects vulpera or sethrak soon
theyll probably be like the first four
oh of course not
recruited at the end of the xpac
i wanna play undead troll.
http://wow.zamimg.com/uploads/screenshots/small/355748.jpg
after we beat all the threats
Just call them forsaken
Yes like thst
vs normal undead
I could see that being the case
Oh yeah right.
that undead troll is hot af
we are getting 2 at launch, and 2 post launch for sure, that is already a lot of work to level them again
so i would not expect anymore till down the road
I feel like a 3rd faction for the Lich King should be known as the Undead which you can play every race as undead and all dks join the Lick King faction as we run the world
to hold us off during a drought
finally got the sandstorm in voldun
oh man
what if the Lich King's faction is just "Ebon Blade"
the new effect that will happen in all the sandy zones in Kalimdor too
that is grand looking Port
I mean, Ebon blade was made for the reason of being neutral right?
Probably not for the explicit sake of being neutral but distinguishing themselves from the Lich King (and his servants)
Ah well, I was close-ish. Though I feel if the LK came back to make his own faction it wouldn't be the Ebon Blade. I feel like the Ebon blade would be all those who don't follow him. Cause I'd give no doubt in my mind their would be some death knights who would and wouldn't join him
but the current lich king is the leader of the Ebon Blade
No no
Publicly to anyone but the Ebon Blade, the Lich King is dead
Arfas Manfil is ded, but LK as himself is in da LK Krown
He is alive I'm saying I don't think anyone knows there is a lich king after arthas
As far as it's known
The Death knights brought back the four horsemen.
As they tried to get tirion
And I'm sure the paladins just assumed it as dks or Ebon blade looking for new champions. And thst I THINK we the players are the "leader"
Lil'offtopic.. Any thoughs / ideas about Arfas's rework inna HotS?
Haven't played him.
Not since I first started playing a year ago or more.
Im a blaze main.
Yop, blaze is my new goal to l2p.. Im mostly warrior player..
I hope it will be interesting rework.. But havent any idea..
I play everything. I enjoy being able to flex on who I am playing, Healer/Specialist/Warrior/Assassin.
I like being good at all of it. Blaze is a great tank in the right hands, I play very aggressive and take about 90% of all my fights, so if Im playing with someone I need big damage dealers there to back me up. Maeiv is the new hero I am going to learn as I love the way she plays and she is a lot of fun when I have played her. Also looking forward to the diablo rework they recently did as I have a love for Diablo siince I recently started playing him.
What does the Kul Tiras/Zandalar map look like
i.e is it like Eastern Kingdoms/Kalimdor or like Northrend/Pandaria
where it's fancy
Shesh.. Here I thought Kalimdor would be closer to Zandalar.
Waiting to see another island appear near Kalimdor.
Remember... Horde bias. It's all Horde bias.
sure as long as it has a large cannon
to shoot the exodar
because fuck the exodar
I mean I feel like Horde has the advantage in this war already.
the exodar has the exobar though
because it is plot irrelevant
Zandalar is a front to push Kul'tirus. Ontop of it all Horde have priority over the azerite in silithus.
how can u say no to that
horde doesnt have the advantage
I feel they do..
its very clearly stated the alliance does, in fact
i wish they'd round out the map so it's more like a net of a sphere (which is impossible but like, at least try to make it a possible world
kul tiran fleet is more powerful than both the horde fleet and the zandalari one
not on land
Horde gonna drain the sea
boom, horde advantage
Hm, yeah I will give them that but I feel Zandalar turns the odds do to the shamans and Loa and all that.
They can control storms and shit I mean.
That's how I feel at least, I feel the Zandalari turn the tides in that. While your fleet is strong can it compare to a massive storms they could possibly form.
the horde has to steal a relic to try and be on par with the Kul Tiran tidesages
Ooooo
zandalari simply have arcane based shipwrights
See, this is why I want beta.
I wanna learn this but everyone has it but me and half of them dont even play it XD.
Hell, my girl has it and she doesn't even play Wow anymore.
So are we still unconfirmed on Zandalari Paladins?
ye theres a reason the Kul Tirans wrecked the Horde and Steamwheedle fleet during the Second War
The Horde had to get dragons to even the odds
and then we brought in gryphons
ripperonis
Hm, so the Horde really doesn't have much backing them.
navally
What about all the Azerite wouldn't that give them something of an advantage at least?
I mean new mineral and shit. You'd assume they would find a way to use it.
goblins actually stole the gnome plans for the war machines
Could be wrong about it, Though feel like it could be used for some sort ammo or enhancer of some sort since it is basically the blood of azeroth.
Which you'd think is super powerful or something.
Given it is titan blood right>?
Hm, is it powerful then or?
See this is why I think Sylvanas is a great leader.
She was smart burning teldrassil..
Despite what I have seen with her genocide things from the screenshots I have seen. It's clear this is a war she plans to win at all costs. And I gotta say I can get behind that even if people think it's terrible.
to be clear
both sides are about equal
but kul tiran fleet is better than zandalari
big difference is the loa the zandalari have
and the horde has more soldiers
less skilled
but higher numbers
You know what they say.
You see all of teldrassil burning right?
Strength in numbers!
that's because of Azerite explosives. (Which is heavily hinted but not confirmed as of yet)
Oooh.
we need that cutscene
See, tactically speaking. Sylvanas is freaking smart.
It's pretty clear it is sylvanas that does it
No one has ever denied it
but what we do deny is calling this action
which slaughters and murders a lot of civilians, children women, non-combatants
I feel Azerite puts the Horde a bit more above the Alliance.
grey
oh its super not grey
Having that kind of explosive to blow up those big fleets.
its very horde - fuck everyone else if you arent horde
Indeed peach
but literally everyone else out there is saying"Horde isn't evil this is all grey actions1!1111!!"
its evil from a nonhorde perspective
When it clearly isnt
if you are horde it may or may not be evil
This seems very horde like.
this is just wanton murder of the civilians
which is yes very hordelike
if you are an orrc
Garrosh did nothing wrong.
you got the same shit from humans and night elves
especially the kul tirans
they killed your cchildren
I wonder how Kul Titans will react to brown orcs lol
they killed your wives
I dont remmeber a time the night elves killing children?...
Let's be real.
The orcs didn't throw kids into teldrassil
especially the second war
Elves ruined everything.
Second warthe night elvesweren't apart of
the kul tirans murdered entire ships
Night elves did not take part in the Second War
Yes.
Because they were ruining their forests. And then they allied with them.
Once more elves ruined everything to begin with.
i guarantee there were children and wives there
Nothing indicating they killed children and wives
As far as we know it was army vs army
I mean they split azeroth apart.
ashenvale wasnt an army
Jerks.
Here we go
Yeah it was.
it was the main section of orcs
Orc's just want a place to live man. Leave em alone.
It was Grom and his clan sent especially away by Thrall on a "false" mission because they were literally too Fel'd up and savage.
Gimme a minute
woops
second war and kul tirans though
thats valid
same with first war and humans
they took orcs as slaves
they captured and tortured them
they killed women and children
no
Lore check!
They imprisoned them because they did not want to just kill and slaughter them all
They also couldnt just let them rampage through their lands so they imprisoned them
And then made them fight to the death in the camps
that too
Yes, Thrall mounted an army, attacked more people, and then stole boats and left. So Daelin chased them (on his own, by the way, the Alliance wasnt backing him up either)
Can we jut agree both sides are a bit twisted?
Oh yeah I'm not saying Alliance is 100% good
We all know to the Alliance, it is evil. Anyone attacking anyone else would be evil to that faction.
Well yes why would they let all the orcs out?
But to the Horde, it is good.
and ships were mercilessly slaughtered
I dont think the ships were slaughtered, I think Daelin only caught up to them once they got to Darkspear Island?
but killing people fleeing for their lives?
Prisoners, to be fair, who had caused more rampage before leaving
Both factions are bad and good to the people who are on their side is the way I look at it. Horde is doing things that have gone on and who is to know what goes on that we players dont really know about.
In real life too you chase prisoners who escape
literally the second war
Yes but you dont try and destroy them..
daelinn attempts to wipe out the entire horde as they are trying to flee
it works
he brings numbers down
and horde isnt able to leave until wc3
he murdered anyone
if you were on a horde ship
you were killed
Again, why would they let them leave? If the population of the US prisons' criminals broke out would they be chased down or would the US let them go "settle" somewhere else?
if they wanted to leave and go somewhere no one cared about?
sure
hello australia
No
Lmao australia
That was Britain sending their prisoners away.
In real life when people break out of prison they are chased down.
individuals
we dont imprison entire peoples
its fucked up
ww2 was the last time
doesnt make us look good does it?
Chase down, doesn't mean they get capture and we gotta taken in account here this is a GAME.
If an entire army of invading demonic people came and burned entire countries to the ground for no reason? Yes you can be sure you'd do something.
sure
but then they communicate with you
say please let us find somewhere
our world is dead
Real life isn't gonna be the same as some lore.
What do I need to do to see burning teldrassil on beta ?
Things are always different.
we want to go to that other continent where no one lives
you need to have done siege of lordaeron
And do the same thing they did to this c ontinent?
they wrecked like 2 zones
thanks @dense plover
oh are we talking about the new leak from amazon?
if so i think sylvanas was in the right
They wrecked nearly the entire Eastern Kingdoms from the very south to the north, from Stormwind to Quel'Thalas and Lordaeron including Dun Morogh.
It's not fucked up to imprison them. They imprisoned them because they 1) couldn't let them free, and kill more people 2) did not want to just kill and slaughter them all. Instead they had to stop them from acting, ie imprisoning them.
i shall keep quiet then friend!!
yeah
but then they tried to leave
not to go attack
but to settle down
in peace
and they werent allowed to
Why would you let the army who burned your entire continent to ashes leave and go on another continent, where they might do the same thing? Or even just return and invade you again?
Of course they were not allowed to.
Because they are mainly the descendents? Not those that actually did it
because maybe having some morals?
They are literally the same who did it @tulip sun
most of the orcs they have imprissoned were not in the first war
most of the surviving orcs are grown children
born as they left
"because then they arent your problem?"
How are they not your problem? So you're s aying it is more morally good to let them go on another continent and do the same thing they did to your continent?
or born on azeroth
No
The Second War was 1 year after the First War. It's literally the exact same people.
Literally the same leaders, the same warlords
thrall was a kid when he came during the first war
Wow Wars need to last longer then a year.
i personally picked horde as my main faction because i didn’t like the idea of the alliance constantly trying to get rid of them, even though they were no longer under the influence of someone else and just looking for their own place to live.
i don’t really dig the whole “punish the children of those who did wrong” schtick
You said Second War. Second War is 1 year after the end of First War. If you meant Lord of the Clans, that's about 8 years after the closing of the Dark Portal, 8 years is still the same people.
so in the grand scheme of this convo i don’t believe that descendants should be punished for crimes committed that they had no part in
^^^
A better example would be the Forsaken sending envoys to the alliance to try to join them first
It's not "the children of those who did wrong", it's the exact same people.
bing bing
sure, they have the potential to carry on, but theres an even bigger potential that they wont
It's not the descendants. It's 8 years later. Unless you're saying Thrall's army was made of 8 years old.
Sounds like a cool army.
They must play fortnite.
Thrall's army was not made of 8 years old.
well, you could argue that those adults have children. we cant exactly go around punishing families
That's just wrong.
The statement that Thrall's army was made of 8 years old is wrong. It was made up of the orcs imprisoned during the Second War.
Also whats wrong with 8year old warriors? Spartans did it they trained their children from birth.
orc adulthood is 12-13
Also 8yo is not adult, 12 years old is, for orcs.
so if you were a 4 year old
The statement that Thrall's army was made of 8 years old is wrong. It was made up of the orcs imprisoned during the Second War.
The same army.
Freed.
It's literally the exact same people.
The same leaders.
The same soldiers.
You have to consider how people feel after things as traumatic as being a slave and other things.
I do, I'm not sure how that fits in the conversation however
They were saying that it was not fair to inflict this on "the descendants of those who did wrong" and that it wasn't the same orcs. But that was wrong, it's not the descendants, it's literally the exact same people who did wrong, the same orcs, 8 years later.
weren’t the orcs basically mind controlled? i’m slightly new to WoW but i mean, after that mind control is up, i feel you gotta give people some slack
unless they weren’t being controlled
They weren't mind controlled, they were Fel'd up
they were enraged
And they didn't even know that
Not mind control. Except on Garona
hm, then that does paint quite the conundrum
in that case, its kind of toeing the line
Yeah it seems like that
I always found this funny, Gul'dan and his Shadow COuncil had the power to mindcontrol people and the only person they mindcontrol is... Garona. Sure she was a fine assassin. But mindcontrolling more people... like the Warchief... could've been useful as well.
on one hand, being imprisoned probably didnt help quell their raging tendencies. on the other hand, you wound up imprisoned for a reason 🤔
And literally nobody else in history does that again. Like, it's a spell that exists, Cho'gall knows it, and uses it on Garona.... again.
It's like the Lich King. He used his plague... before... then stopped.
He got the power to annihilate an entire human village overnight and turn them into his servants. He also did it to a whole human kingdom, Lordaeron. And never uses it again.
Still doesn't make sense we won in Wrath.
Magic
Cause plot.
"Before I conquer the world, I'm going to taunt the entire world into attacking me, killing every single one of my most powerful commanders, destroying all my floating citadels, annihilating my entire armies I spent 4358 years building up, so I can raise about 25 champions. And then I'm going to use these champions to conquer the world!"
Murderhobos are linked to spirit healers, Arthas KNOWS
Even more funnier, all throughout Northrend questing it was either :
- "Hi champion, I'm the Lich King. I'm not gonna kill you now though, I'll do it at some other point later. See ya!"
or - "Hi champion, oh you died? Hmm I could raise you. Or.. I could bring you back to life, and then kill you at some point later, and then raise you!"
This is what we call plot armor.
shhh don't talk kindly about blizzard
Shh just don't talk about them.
really hoping
2020 expac is like cata 2
i see lots about scourge returning
bolvar etc
splitting the horde and alliance
hd models
it'd be great
and for the love of GOD redo the maps on Eastern and Kalimdor
More cities
more mini islands by kalimdor would be cool
what if BFA Island Expeditions got added to the world map
since there's gotta be a limit to how many there are
blizzard said that
"return to the same isle but"
charting the world map
Sea content would be cool
like having our own boats
I honestly wanted an expansion of WoD's admiral table
Where we control like. A portion of the Kul Tiran fleet
and we can walk each of the boats and such
and the boat is replaced with kul tiras boat
how do new draenei reach eastern kingdoms?
Portals
also do remember that the Teldrassil/Tirisfall stuff
is all post-110
pre-110 it never happens
ah thats confusing still
Story-based phasing.
The further you progress, the more things change visually for you.
Oh and blasted lands
With the option to go to the old version
The scenario's part of a quest tho, isn't it?
nope
Oh
The proper british people are void elves
Not as heavy as Gilneans.
Not heavy cockney*
no GABBIN'?
Hunters got a new weapon holding animation. It's when you have a target that you want to auto attack (right click) but it is too far, kind of like how Melee sort of wiggle on the spot waiting to spare. (Not my screens, from the Lore discord)
Tagging @serene marsh in case this is news worthy
oh my god finally
wat wat wat
It was first seen in the BFA trailer when those Zandalari hold their blowguns
That bugged quiver for Thas'dorah, though. Lol
been requesting the actual nims come to players for months now
just been sitting as npc only for so long
Also.. that arrow going through the guard(?) on Thas'dorah too
They did say the new anims would be given to players, this is the first instance of it !
Next one should be the sexy leaning on the countertop animation https://i.imgur.com/HNTu8Gm.jpg
Guardsmen stances please
I read that as "big sexy" and I instantly agreed
That would be the Tirasian human idle animation of course
Interesting
The way alliance get the brutosaur is from a bpack market guy that smuggles them
OH THANK GOD
Black*
Hunter animations for idle combat!
Oh neat! more black market pandaren
:(
hee
Looks like she's scared so she's all tight/stiff
Isn't Taelia.. Bolvars kid?
She is
just to double check, legendaries in bfa wont be like the ones in this xpac right?
so far there are no legendaries in BfA
we might get a questline but no, they wont be like Legions
a questline...
Like Shadowmourne
like the ring and cloak from wod/mists?
Gotta keep those hand sturdy to fire xD
I kinda like that...
Crossbow/gun for that is cool when its out.
I hope that stays a thing as that'd look great.
Thank God we finally get new animations
This a legit thing yes?
Yes
nice booty
can a person buy beta key?
Why would you want to pay to test an unfinished product?
personal refrence
I wouldn’t trust buying a beta key from someone.
i really wanna get to test the new changes to classes
Pretty sure Blizz banhammers you if you literally sell a beta key
You can try winning a giveaway, most fansites do them, Wowhead will have one soon, same for /r/wow, etc.
wowhead, mmo champ, streamers
I'd buy a beta key from my friends
Cause I wanna play beta and all of them have beta but me.
I wanna see more of those weapon animations with the gun/crossbows on other characters.
The only way you can get your hands on a key safely is from a giveaway. Most other people who have it probably just have their accounts flagged for beta. They won’t be given a key.
^
It’ll just automatically be linked to their account.
All my friends and my brother have beta too. It sucks they can all play and I am still impatiently waiting for mine.
guess gotta wait 😦
