Well the horde did assist in getting their airship destroyed by Deathwing, they did assist in fighting in Outland and the Lich king. Really though, the horde races can't get attributed to saving the world. Those are more for the neutrals like The Crusade. Unlike the perfect night elves who banded together against their corrupt Queen to save the world from the burning legion, heavily and permanently crippled the Saytr leadership, as well as kept the Silithid in AQ.

Regarding BFA, they said at Blizzcon that the control of Stromgarde (warfront) would allow the Alliance to then lead an offensive over Quel'thalas. For the Horde, it'd serve as a launching point onto Gilneas.
