I’ve been in every beta since wrath. I didn’t get into BC but played on my friends beta account. Alpha is friends and family of blizz employees usually. Then it’ll move into close beta, they will send out waves of invites to people who have opted in, as well as give some popular streamers and websites keys to give out in contests and such. They’ll send out a certain number of invites every couple weeks. Keeping the numbers limited so they can make sure the servers are stable and relatively playable(its beta, so it’s not always stable. Lots of bugs and stuff that need to be reported and worked out).

It’ll continue like this for months. Near the end of beta, close to launch they will send out a massive wave of invites so that they can stress test the servers and the content. The stress test is the closest thing we’ll get to an open beta. But it’s still technically a closed beta since it requires an invite to be given to you. I find it funny when people get into beta and complain that stuff isn’t playable like it should be. It’s freaking beta. Meant for testing and breaking and reporting of bugs. Not early access to the content.

Eredar face tentacles have nothing to do with the void elves hairy tentacles unfortunately.

Although, there is a joke the Lightforged tell about their tentacles and the ties they could have to the Void.

While the void does make corrupted purple tentacles pop out of peoples bodies, tentacles do grow naturally. Its very possible the eredar were very squidlike in early stages of evolution and they just shrunk as they got onto land, like how some animals keep their webbing from their fish development.

Pre-paid services can be delayed. IF someone wanted to sue they could but legally they would just be required to receive a refund, no court is gonna see that and no one is gonna wait 2 years for a civil cast on a 40 dollar digital purchase.
