hey guys here's a theory : Alleria brings in the coming of the old gods as Il'gynoth predicts, as he says "At the hour of her third death, she will usher in our coming." and if you travel over to stormwind after argus, you can see Alleria and Turalyon talking, she says the following
"Indeed. Sometimes I feel that I have already died twice. Once when we were presumed lost on Draenor, and again when gripped by the shadow of the fallen naaru"
And so you can imagine in BFA, at the burning of teldrassil, where you see possibly vereesa dying next to sylvannas as teldrassil burns, that maybe she feels this as her 'third death', and will likely trigger emotions within her. As we know void elves tend to call to the void when emotional.. So perhaps this emotional flare will create an entryway for the old gods?

As I understand it, Alleria 'dies' when she leaves the alliance and horde conflict in Outland to join the Army of the Light. She 'dies' again when she leaves the Light in order to follow the Dark. Veressa dying doesn't change who Alleria is as she already hates the horde and seems to hold contempt for Sylvanas.
