Related to artifacts, in all likelihood, you just won’t be able to use them above level 110, or once you do the quest introing to BfA, your weapon will deactivate

@upper laurel Just do the invasion points whenever you see them in Argus, make sure to do WQs and grind the missions with your followers. I think you'll be able to get exalted within a week to two weeks.
