I started playing WoW 15 months ago. With 12 alts & multiple races/roles/skills, I am making much slower progress than you folks - but still having a lot of fun. I enjoy making th ealts as much as playing, I guess. Thia is my now-level-110 human Hunter (have 2 hunters). Have 2 alts in Legion/Draenor & others scattered all over. Will post a couple other favorites on the track for Legion.
This is another favorite alt - my gnome rogue. She's my only gnome & a great subtle rogue - shown here at level 79, she's now in Pandoria, & level 82, I think.

This is my Gilnean Warrior. She's around level 70 now & another favorite. She runs so differently from my other alts - long-legged, I guess - takes getting used to, each time. She's about my only alt with a great charge - lol.
That's a Pandarian helmet she won, JHock. I kinda like it. You see, I hate to cover my alts' hairstyles , so mog the helmets to options that allow tehe hair to show - LOL (my weakness)

Here's the Pandarian helmet from a side view - very light structure that's out of her way & not obstructing her Hunter's view. Why would a Huntr ever cover her eyes when on the prowl? (hehehe) She actually won two of thee helmets; this is the darker one; the other is white metal & feathers

yeah - we go to all that work to create an alt that we enjoy looking at, so why cover him or her? (altho, like you, some might look better or more impressive with helmets, like my Gilnean?) Altho' I'm not sure she actually has a helmet thta does that - she has a thick mane of hair that usually sticks out.
I also admit I like my alts good-looking. If I had a skeletor-looking one, I'd cover her up a bit more - guess I'm squeamish - lol

My main's mog was made around the helmet he's got, so thats why him hiding his head doesn't bother me. My dk is an rp character so his helmet is a plague doctor mask which covers his whole head

That's cool - & a good reason. I was rather unfamilar with WoW & just shoce alts as they interested me. Had no higher levels to try the more advanced types & since then no stimulus to try changing them. But now that we can make 4 more (once I get one far enough to get a free upagrade & a void elf - which is probably a long time away), I might try something different. Since I am female, chose to make females - should try a male or two, altho so far haven't liked the ones I tried - but maybe it was the role & race options I didnt like. Might try again. But already have 12 to grow - lol (sheesh)
This is my level 105 paladin; she's already gained all three artifact weapons, whereas my Hunter (lvl 110) only has the one. I am moving them on different quest tracks & this one is currently stuck, as she cannot complete the shipboard quest to get to Stormheim - the cannons aren't giving me the latitude I need to aim them properly.
(I've since learned how to get rid of the printing - thanks to another member here)
