I doubt it these days. I don't know personally but look at apps that have server based in Asia but there is no issues from cell tower response. So ISP's being fiber optics and what not these days with 15MBUP/Down minimums and what not. I doubt any issues at all. (just my opinion)

The truth of the matter is that someone did all the calculations and 1-40 Quest focus with mob grinding is fastest. 41-50 Mob grinding focus with quests is fastest. 51-60 it is back to quest focus with mob grinding.
So, it isn't totally cut and dry do quests and you will level faster.

What do you mean? If you enjoy the class just learn a rotation. Experiment what you feel you need to do in different situations. Dungeons, Raids, Single, Group, PVP.
Rotations may not be the same in each case but repetition will come by the time you get to the NEED to know your class phase.

I'm a healer at heart, I've never been a super fantastic DPS. Part of it I love having that feeling like I'm helping out, that I'm not disposable.

The thing is everyone has their "help out" dps needs to do the dmg in most cases or boss does X after timer. Healers obvious keep all alive. Tank tanks all the hard dmg. Everyone does have a place.
Everyone should play what they want then get in where they fit in.
You want to really heal then figure it out. What's so pressing about taking the time to enjoy what you want to do?
If the burden of keeping people alive is too much then keep your dps if you feel like you can just contribute to dmg.
Just don't get so discouraged.

Classic was an awesome beast, but how can you compete against dc bosses of clients, people who never raided in their life, etc. Did not even have the concept of this sort of gameplay and scale. MC was one the easier Raids in the end. I mean AQ will be interesting to see and sure they will still murder it faster. But 1.12 was sort of a nerf already to MC itself.
I mean rotations in some ways were easier for some classes and a lot of the mechanics and scripting oddly enough were quite easy.
I'm not bashing classic btw I love it playing myself. But I know in 2-3 months there will be a landslide drop and it sucks I don't want it to happen but I'm going be a realist on it.

You can't really compare private servers to Blizzard servers though. The programmers took some liberties in changing some things specifically because of copyright laws and such. Which is part of the reason I think that Blizzard made classic live. I think they wanted to have more capability to shut down some of the IP theft that happened in private servers.
I think it is only part of the reason, not the whole reason.

That is because there was an error in processing. You might have to close the game and reopen, but I have sometimes been able to get rid of it by switching out windows. Minimize and open again.

We don't know the timeline of releases precisely. The phases will likely be variable in length, due to the varying scope of content in each
But how quickly it's cleared for the first time will definitely not have any bearing on their longevity :P.
I imagine this first phase will likely be the longest to give the most possible people the chance to get in on the ground floor, so to speak
