I think you must be able to, right? You can run LFR stuff from MoP
I can't say 100% for legion, but I'd assume there's someone you can talk to to queue for it, and then you'll be instanced inside

You need to select "bows" instead of "legion artifacts" to transmog MM as BM

"Legion Artifacts" will only apply to your spec but if you select weapon type of the artifact, you should be able to see all the artifacts there. This applies to offhands too (you can transmog main hand to a wand and off-hand to the Xal'atath book on a priest, for example)

I think the issue is difference between the shoulders and crown... I feel like the shoulders work better if I use the crown from ToS norm because it brings in more of the yellow tone rather than the brassy one
I agree though, different shoulders could also work, but I've looked through the options and couldn't find anything satisfactory
