Leeroy Jenkins, your artifact appearances are under a separate tab in the transmog panel. You should find the upgraded ashbringer model there. Be sure to get, and complete, the heroic weapons quest in your class hall (iirc that's specifically what gives you the appearance)
As in, in the categories for your weapon, there should be "Maces", "Swords", "Polearms", and "Legion Artifacts" iirc

You don't need to use bulky boots, but something that doesn't expose your ankles would probably blend together. As it is, it draws your eyes from the rest of the look.

My hope is that more people will see the mogs Vulpera are capable of pulling off and like the race a bit more. Playing around with transmog options is one of the main reasons I rolled one. They don't all have to be skimpy clothing and suits and hats.
