It's surprisingly easy to get; so long as you have 860 ilvl you'll find the PvP & PvA WQ reward S3 Gladiator gear. You learn for appearance & the obliterate for Echoes of Battle so you can purchase pieces which haven't dropped yet. And as you do that you're working on prestige for the artifact appearance

You can replicate it by breaking your "sheath" with addons usually. Sheathing while casting your mount and mounting is usually kind of how it works, but idk the specifics to how to replicate it myself.

@ashen sparrow Female pandaren models rock most, if not all, of the sets from MoP. I'm a big fan of the PvP sets from there. If I wasn't on the road right now I would pull up a few transmogs I have my Orc in. But I would recommend stacking up on Marks of Honor.

@hard lintel you can get the matching boots for I think 55 or 75 darkmoon faire tickets! The vendor is where the heirloom vendor is at the faire. Hope that helps. Also comes in purple too.

it's not an heirloom, it's a replica ... the vendor is beside the heirloom vendor is all - replicas are item level 1 and usable but level 45 or so and above - they are not bind on pickup tho so can be mailed to other toons you might have on the same server to complete a set
they are transmog only being item level 1
you can also sell them on the AH but usually people want way too much for them
easier to used tickets to buy them - they're not expensive in ticket price like 55 or 75 tickets per piece

The heirlooms for holy paladin hold the same appearance as the replicas. Also if you completed the original quests for the actual original pieces you can use them at level 1.

it's cheaper to buy the level 15 darkmoon faire quest items and get enough tickets per faire for one piece per toon per faire ... costs about 1k gold on my server per replica piece that way, instead of the 17-25k gold they are selling for on the AH
if you have enough toons you can get a set per faire - the replicas are not limited to a specific class as you can choose which class replica you want to buy on any toon

It doesn't exactly have a lot of qualities that make it a legendary but it has cool cosmetic effects I wish my Hunter could inherit.

Because it has the ability to basically make magic arrows which was pretty neat

In BC itself Thori'dal was actually the strongest weapon by a staggering amount.

Steady Shot only inherited damage from the damage of the weapon itself, not accounting for bullet damage. Thori'dal had a huge base damage stat so it was the best for Steady Shot. This was fixed in Wrath.
...AKA, by the time about 40 Hunters even had the weapon.

@meager birch as Keyboardturner said, you have to wait until it's officially "yours". If it still says on the tooltip "this item may be traded to other players who were eligible to loot it for the next <hour> <minute> <second>", it's not yet available to your other characters.

That would be interesting. For some characters though, their hands and wrists might get worn out.
Temporary solution is to unequip them (if you're doing RP) and if you're in combat, use your imagination.

Hey guys, I'm planning on hosting some kind of transmog contest/fashion show in the future, similar to what Asmongold does sometimes. I was thinking of streaming it so you guys could hear my thoughts, I'd narrow down the competition to 5 people and have twitch chat (depending on viewer count) vote for the winner. I'd have different themes/categories every time. I was thinking about doing class/spec specific ones, as well as seasonal themes, etc.
For the winner, I was thinking of giving out a prize of a WoWtoken, rare tradeable mounts, rare pets, and even rare transmogs. Who knows.
Since we don't know how often, or when the Trial of Style microholiday is going to be happening, I wanted to do something like this on my own. Also, since the only thing you get for the Trial of Style are tokens that are usable for some exclusive transmog sets, I was thinking it would be a nice prize for the people not interested in them. I'm considering hosting it once a month if enough people are interested.

I haven't tried it myself but I've accidentally done it before. It involves something with enchant slots + switching specs. The latter, it's probably not fixed because it's not really a pressing issue. It's so minor and doesn't actually give anyone an upper hand.

Don't farm Tusks of Mannoroth on Mythic, you can only clear Mythic once per week.
Just do Heroic repeatedly.

On Mythic Difficulty the boss will not reappear if killed. On Heroic Difficulty, you can zone into another instance with the Boss Up and kill him and use your Bonus Roll to get the Tusks
I cleared all of the other bosses with one character, then create a private premade group and auto inv my alt who zones into the SOO with only Garrosh up, and repeateldy kill him. Takes me about 6-7 min per attempt. I can walk past the trash @ lvl 110

When I was farming for Gorehowl I despised chess simply because of the RNG that could cause you to fail + the time it takes

I don't believe you need a growth elixir, you can simply jam yourself in that spot and sitdown, then logout or alt+f4 then relog and jump up and forward.

What I did, was I paused every 5 levels and did every quest available, aside from getting just about every quests Xmogs, I got tonnes of greens for my Xmog interface... I really recommend making your own guild if you do this, hexweave bags don't handle that level of stuff.
